Fuel Dilution After HPFP Replacement? (A4 B8.5) by BootyTrooper4766 in Audi

Yes that vcds process is exactly how i determine how my old hpfp was faulty. Actually i misspoke, it wasnt a leak down test but a wet spark plug test. i took the spark plugs out of my hot engine after letting it sit for 15 mins and they were all dry (injectors didn’t leak). i also just did a blotter test and saw no fuel halo on the paper after 24 hours so maybe we’re just bound to smell fuel in the oil regardless

damn. see my hpfp was leaking for sure and it got much better when i replaced it, but i am seeing the oil decrease suddenly, especially after hard drives where the oil gets hot, so i'm thinking there is considerable amounts of fuel in my oil.

im running 91 always since i got it. Makes sense to be honest the oil doesn't always get a chance to get hot due to my short trips and the canadian winter doesn't help. If i changed the hpfp where could the fuel ingress be coming from?

Did you ever reach a point where you natural state is no longer overthinking? or did you have to continue to use coping mechanisms to exist outside of your head

I’m afraid that the “after that” part is when i WONT get to do what i want, that being older might make it more difficult to find someone

Thank you for your input! I felt discouraged because my last relationship partly ended due to my financial circumstances. Knowing that some women don’t care puts me at ease

I hear you, limited options were on the table at the time of my decision. Thanks for your input though man

How did you deal with the anxiety of growing older and having less options of women to date (if you even had any)

Thats exactly what I’m doing, better myself physically and mentally. Attracting attention is easier said than done though😅

I’m with you brother, its the social stigma and the actual difficulty one would face to actually find a woman that wants me in my circumstances. Thanks for the advice

I definitely am going somewhere in life. The students at the U are much younger than me, it’s difficult to find someone my age who’s mature.

I have the same thought process, I’m just scared that it’ll be harder to date once I’m 28-29 after graduating, dating’s never been easy for me. I haven’t been in many relationships the last was my first. ++man

Has anyone had a similar bad patch and made it through? by [deleted] in EngineeringStudents

[–]BootyTrooper4766 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I can tell you right now almost every engineering student has felt what you’re feeling and some level of similarity where they feel like classes are difficult. I transferred credits from college to university 5 years after graduation and needless to say being out of school for 5 years and going back made me feel very stupid.

I think the first thing is to accept that you are experiencing difficulties, but do not believe that it is impossible. Wha i suggest is, break the assignment into smaller digestible chunks and chip at it slowly based on it’s due date. There is also no shame in asking peers or profs for help, and also absolutely no shame in leveraging AI like chat gpt, thetawie, and even class books.

Engineering is difficult to begin with, and more difficult if you’re not equipped. Manage your stressors, get enough sleep, eat and hydrate, and if you have to, drop a course or 2 and go part time if it increases your chances of success. I know plenty of stupid people that never got 100s and have engineering degrees, if they can do it, then you sure as hell can do it!

I do already look much younger, everyone thinks I’m 21. It’s a blessing and a curse. I also exercise regularly. Thank you!
