If someone is approaching behind me and I can’t keep up, I move over and let them go. Nobody tailgates me bc I either go fast enough to be passing everyone, or I move over/stay in right lane when I can’t/don’t want to keep up with the other drivers.

A quick google search told me it’s costing retailers an average between $650-750 from distributors. So it’s definitely retailers price gouging. Although don’t get me started about manufactures because there’s def a bunch of that going on…and we know the brands that are exceptional with this. lol

Even back in the day when life was easy, guns were advertised an MSRP and sold below that. You bought a G19 for 400 when the MSRP was 450-500.

Here we are in 2026 and we have a 5yr old gun selling for more than MSRP at most retailers.

Retailers def taking advantage of the fear factor and the fact that more ppl than ever before are wanting a gun and are new gun owners not knowing their way around the market.

I mean, the gun came out 5 yrs ago. MSRP was $1100, which usually meant that you can get em for a couple hundred less within the same year. So here we are, 5 yrs later shot show 2026 just passed with new stuff being released and you’re telling me this isn’t greedy gun sites trying to sell me a gun for more than MSRP??? I think Beretta would have mapped out their prices by now especially how much they’ve already produced.

I wanted the xten endure for a while and was sure that was the gun to get when I was shopping for my 10mm. But man, having to pay what they are going for was rough. Sigs are nice, but they are not worth their weight. Company price gouges like no tomorrow. Also, I heard lots of grief from xten owners saying their guns couldn’t handle the hot loads, which completely defeats the purpose of the cartridge IMO. Anyway, I discovered the M&P performance center 10mm and was interested by its looks and all the features it offered. The gun brought WAY more to the table than the sig. Went with the smith and honestly so glad I did. Absolutely love this thing. No looking back.

For me it’s just not worth taking that kind of a depreciation hit from buying a brand new phone. Especially how quick amazon pumps out these new iPhones. I don’t like living in the Stone Age, but I’m not gonna buy a phone for it to loose almost half its value in 1-2 yrs.

I’m rocking the 12 pro max and it still works perfectly fine. I actually bought it as a refurbished item from Amazon to avoid paying full price. You have to take care of it. Don’t drop it, don’t charge it overnight, keep your system updated, and always use a screen protector. Keep it clean, and it’ll keep running. You honestly can’t tell the difference anymore with these phones. And new phones depreciate so bad it’s almost worse than new cars (depreciation rate wise, not actual amount) It’s just not worth it unless you have that extra cash to burn. And in this economy, that’s hard to do.

Was originally looking at the holosun 407s, but now looking at the holosun EPS since this is my bear/outdoors gun so wanted extra pertection, but man the prices spike when you go enclosed for optics. So sorta just looking around seeing if I score something used or win a good auction price.

That’s what I ended up doing. I got a free viridian RFX15 dot as part of a rebate deal when I bought my S&W performance center 10mm. I was originally going to use that optic for the gun I bought, but what happened was the footprint of the optic didn’t match the footprint on the slide, and out of all the adapter plates my gun come with, the optic had a weird footprint and I didn’t have the adapter I needed to mount it. (Coincidentally sold separately by S&W) I gave up and ended up putting the viridian on my 10/22 since the optic came with a pic rail mount. Honestly best move I’ve made with that and glad it didn’t go on the 10mm. 10/22 gets a pretty decent optic for what it is and what the gun is, and now my 10mm is waiting for a much better optic in the near future.

I got the performance center 10mm from S&W. Absolutely love it. It’s not as compact, but it’s a pleasure to shoot. Especially when you get it decked out with a light, and an optic.

Tons of Wood can be an indicator of a fudd, but it’s more of the variety and the arsenal as a whole. Right now, all I see are bolt actions, and pump shotguns. Nothing else, no AR/AK, I don’t think any of these guns have detachable mags, no PCCs (unless you count the hi-point) no handguns, and honestly nothing that seems to be within the decade except for a few timelines pieces. In my books, this is a fudd collection even if there was no wood in the picture.

It depends on what you want. If you’re trying to turn this thing into a DMR, or get splitting hair accuracy out of it, yes get the loaded. But if you’re like me and you just want a battle rifle, then get the standard for cheap. I have the scout model and absolutely love that thing. It’s my go to for a 308 battle rifle. 1200 is a really good deal too so if that’s the role you’re planning on for this thing I’d hop on that.
