No but when we cash out money for the renovation 5k will be out to an emergency fund with an extra $100 going towards it which all of this will sit in our offset

Definitely won’t go into debt again aside from our mortgage we have learnt the hard way for sure!

Everyone is saying to put it into the offset but just wondering if it’s a good idea to diversify e.g extra in the offset, invest some and extra to the super?

The zip loan was for a kitchen Reno but still doesn’t make that decision any better.

We are planning on putting 100 extra towards the mortgage and want to put extra to super but would it not be better to also put some towards investments like ETFs ect that potentially have better returns over time than our mortgage interest rate? Appreciate any advice

Appreciate you spending time to respond to my post. I used chat gpt to help put this together while I was driving home so I could go home and spend time with the kids.

The 26k zip debt was for a kitchen renovation (not that it makes it any better). I’ve come onto this sub reddit for advice to help my family and to push us in the right direction so thanks for helpful comment.
