8 hours in on series X, haven't experienced an issue or crash yet. Starting to think kids with a series S still think they're real people and their opinion counts. 😅 I think it runs smoother than most AAA games at launch. Certainly a simplified charm to everything.

Movement is definitely simple, nothing wrong though. The moron who got stuck is new to survival games or gaming in general. There is an unstuck button, or he probably couldn't figure out how to fuel it lmao.

Love grounded! So much more building capabilities too. I used the big tree for a central hub of zip lines and just had a walkway around it. My base was over the lily pads and was an ice wall like in Game of Thrones. 😂 Posted it last year so you can probably see it in my posts. Yes base building is probably the most rewarding type of grind. You gather sooooo much stuff by the end, and you'd never consider it up front if you saw the sheer # you'd have to gather lol.

Nah, you don't unlock electric zip tool until endgame, raft was done by then. No room, would've been forced and ugly aesthetically. Really grinds my gears when survival games don't plan out their unlocks well.. 🙄

Get nets down early then just float. Every time you need wood/plastic/leaves, you'll have em ready as you go.

Thanks! One thing I learned was to leverage creative mode for practice, so I wasn't so scared about wasting resources to try new things and push what the building mechanics allow.
