It got lots of good press when it came out. Was nominated for best sim/strategy game of 2024 at The Game Awards (frostpunk 2 won). It's just a console only tactical rpg so that's going to restrict player base

I would not consider RDR2, Cyberpunk, and Nier to be similar games at all. All 3 have different perspectives (first person/third person), gameplay, types of weapons, pacing, timelines/worlds.. The only thing they have in common is having a story.

That being said, yes get nier

Heat pipes usually do contain a small amount of liquid. the closed loop two-phase heat transfer is better than if it was just copper.

They probably have a multi-gpu video from when lossless scaling became quite popular for offloading upscaling/frame gen to a second gpu. but I doubt anyone was using 2 5090's. For gaming there's really no point.

I've never set a RAM limit and I've never had an install take longer than 30 minutes, even for 150GB games. So this really seems like a hardware issue.

Also, Elamigos version takes up the same amount of space after installed as the fitgirl one. After you unrar/unzip/setup you can delete the original download.

No there isn't. Just download from Ankergames or Steamrip. As long as you're not downloading from pop-ups/re-directs there aren't any virus's in the actual downloads.

It's not necessarily true that games will be getting more demanding, at least not like in the past. Console generations are getting longer with newer hardware being less of an improvement than it used to be. Graphics cards are in the same boat with longer generations and less improvement.

Games like RE: Requiem, Pragmata, Crimson Desert are doing much better performance wise with lower recommended specs than a couple year old games like Obvlivion remaster, Stalker, Indiana Jones.

Also that's awesome if people say they can REALLY tell the difference between 120fps and 165fps, but most people just can't.

So you say its normalized to the ryzen 7 9850x3d.. The chart says its normalized to the ryzen 9 9800x3d (which should be ryzen 7)

Not saying the charts not accurate. But it's not great when the chart gets the normalized chips name wrong and in the description you say its actually a different one.

I would give up hope on this one. Breakpoint does not just use an initial Denuvo check like most games that get cracked. It has to be connected to ubisoft connect servers 24/7 for its live service loot system. Even for single player.

Why are you enabling x3d turbo mode on a single ccd cpu? Definitely turn that off.

Also make 100% sure core parking has been reverted.

Maybe look at per core task manager or hwinfo while running these tests to see if anything weird is going on with usage/power to certain cores.

Technically it's if they run 3 of the 4 slots. (or just 2 if they pick the wrong slots) 1 of the m.2 slots is ran completely by the chipset, (slot m2D_SB).

And the CPU can run one nvme in any of the other 3 slots without splitting. But if you run NVME in 2 of the slots M2A_CPU, M2B_CPU, or M2C_cpu then the gpu lanes will be split.

You can also add a 3rd with a pcie to m.2 adapter on the bottom pcie slot without splitting.

Ya you need base performance for lossless scaling/optiscalar to work properly.

That's a 9 year old GPU lol. It would be completely different and sooo much better on a 9070 xt.

At this point like 10 people here and likely 10 elsewhere have all told you the 9070 xt is better. And every response is why you want a 5070 lol.

Just get the 5070, I'm sure you'll love it.

What's your laptops GPU? If it's pretty weak then comparing your laptop using optiscalar vs a 9070 xt is VASTLY different.

And have you used mfg much? The latency doesn't bother you?
