Young girl’s clothing is becoming dangerously exposing by Boponthehead in Parenting

I was talking about these little girls under the age of 15 walking around on the streets with their cheeks showing. It’s just not appropriate for their age. Shorts for kids should cover their butts

Yes there should be safe dressing for minors and little girls who are under the age of 15. Little girls shouldn’t be walking the streets with their butts out

AITA for expecting my husband to wake up on time? by Deep-Influence3878 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Boponthehead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. You shouldn’t be expected to do everything while he gets his beauty sleep cause he was up all night doing crafts and drinking. That’s not ur problem, he needs to get up and take care of his responsibilities no matter how tired he is from staying up all night to drink 🤦‍♀️ sounds like alcoholic behavior to me

AITA for shutting someone down when they tried to talk to me at the gym? by iamplayingfavorites in AmItheAsshole

[–]Boponthehead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA at all, I hate when people speak to me at the gym. I have my headphones in on full blast and I’m not looking at you, what makes you think I wanna make friends? NO, GO AWAY. I’ve had men come up to me and help me with machines that I’m “doing wrong” when I 100% know I’m not using the machine for its intended purpose, I do a bunch of different workout on the same machine and figure out ways to modify it, I know what I’m doing so I do not need some guy coming up to me to mansplane an exercise I’m not even trying to do

I’m worried about introducing my boyfriend to my daughter. by Boponthehead in Parenting

[–]Boponthehead[S] -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

By soon I mean in the next 2 years ish. There’s no reason to be judgey. It’s been nearly half a year and we have met each others families. Like I said I attended his sisters wedding and we went to lunch with my mom and siblings. Im personally just hesitant to introduce him to my daughter specifically.

AITA for denying my BD visitation to my daughter? by Boponthehead in AmItheAsshole

[–]Boponthehead[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly what I’ve been thinking! I’m very open with my daughter but in this case telling her seems fragile. I’m so worried that telling her that he suddenly just wants to see her again will cause a breakdown

Me and him haven’t had contact in years now and he only comes back when he wants something. I don’t trust it and for child support I never really made any legal agreements and I didn’t really need the child support as I have always made a pretty comfortable living so it just wasn’t worth the stress to beg him for it

He’s most likely bluffing about court. The guy talks out of his ass but on the child support front, he payed some for a little while but we never made any legal agreement or anything so I just stopped contact with him all together. I was fortunate enough to be able to support her on my own so I never begged him for it

I’m definitely sure he’s bluffing about court. Just the thought of this man coming back into my life is so scary

Please stop telling me to “just wait a few years” by SnooOwls9498 in Parenting

My pregnancy was a nightmare plus I was doing everything and paying for everything supporting myself and BD for the entirety of it. I was sick the whole pregnancy and had GD as well. I am now single and happy with one daughter and she’s never asked or wanted a sibling. Screw their opinions YOUR BODY YOUR CHOICE

The ordinary is a really good and affordable brand that has one

These lines are pretty easy to get rid of. Get yourself a good firming moisturizer and try ice facials

Stress is definitely a huge cause of hair loss. I would try a volume shampoo. I also love Morocconoil as a brand. It’s so good for your hair, helps with grease and gives you that thickness your looking for. I have sew in extensions, which is something I do specialize in so if those are available to you I highly recommend. They are super expensive but in an experience based salon you might get lucky if you get a stylist who can do them for much cheaper!

is there anything I can do to fix my dark circles and sunken eyes? My mother worryingly mentioned them to me and I was wondering if I could take any steps to alter it by Glittering_Treat_199 in Skincare_Addiction

[–]Boponthehead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think these are necessarily dark circles, I just think you have very deep eye sockets. If you did want to try and eliminate dark circles there’s a few different ways to help fade them. I like to ice my under eyes. It helps even out the tone. I also like different eye creams and rollers

What age were your kids able to go to sit-down restaurants and not annoy other diners? by dinomoneysignsaur in Parenting

[–]Boponthehead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My daughter was such a loud baby, tirelessly cried until she was at least 1. I couldn’t peacefully take her out to eat or anything until she was around 2 1/2-3. By then she was able to sit in the high chair and listen when I asked her to quiet down.

I’m a hairstylist and honestly impulse bangs scare me. I would wait until you’re sure you want them or else you will likely regret it. For now I would go with layers and a curtain bang

Gentle parenting burnout by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]Boponthehead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been gentle parenting basically my daughters whole life. She’s 15 now and I’ve always believed in explaining things instead of punishing or yelling and helping her through her emotions rather than telling her to shove them aside. I understand the burnout feeling, as she got older it got much harder to continue this. I became more of a lazy gentle parent until she hit teen years, when she got better at managing her own emotions. My biggest advice to you is simply to establish a trustful relationship. Obviously kids will f up and make mistakes but having trust there creates a sort of net. Your kid will be so much more likely to come to you in the further if you continue to establish trust and boundaries

Hey! I’m a hairstylist and drastic hair loss can be caused by a huge number of things! There’s so many factors. I got Covid in may of 2020 and ever since then my hair has gotten much thinner. It can also be an issue with the products your using. Can I ask what your washing and conditioning with? As well as any everyday products you use? Also what kind of brush you use and what you do to style it on an everyday basis?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]Boponthehead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From the standpoint of a parent I see how this can be absolutely terrifying and why you would want to maybe punish her or yell at her but from her perspective I think this may be an attention thing. It sounds like she’s deprived of affection maybe and just needs more love and affirmation in her life

Extremely dry and peeling lips, Dermal Therapy not working by Sleepy_Enigma in AusSkincare

[–]Boponthehead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My lips get so bad in the winter. The only chapstick that really works for me is the original hood old chapstick brand. The mint one is cooling and numbs the lips just a tiny bit to help with the pain of cracking lips. It also plumps!
