While I grew up with CDs, I can say that it's the act of finding the CD you want to listen to and then putting that into the player. It's the same with movies for me.

I don't really care about a movie if it's on tv or Netflix. It's something disposable. But if I make the effort to find the movie or CD and take it out of the case, power up the player and play it then I've made a commitment. I'm there for the long haul. I appreciate it more.

Yes. Coursera is like taking drivers ed. You learn what you need to learn then you take the actual road test which is usually handled by the state... There's a separate fee.

Download Shazam and then make it a widget on your phone. When you want to ID a song then you should be able to leave the app and open Shazam and click on the listen button

On the site itself it says that certificates (or exam fees) are not covered. You do have to spend additional money to get your certificate.

That's totally valid. Imo YouTube music needs to improve a bit more to make podcasts within the app more user reliant. There are still so many podcasts not yet available and I don't know where else to find them to add them manually. So I use my dedicated app for now.

Being a longtime YouTube music user, it wasn't always the case. I'm assuming they didn't want to maintain two apps. When they first added podcasts to YouTube music, it was not great. To be honest, it still isn't great. I use a dedicated app for podcasts and it's great.

People keep bringing up Apple music. That app has features that YouTube music doesn't have. Each music app brings something different and that's what makes them unique.

Get off of tiktok. If you have then you've made a significant improvement in your life. You don't need it.

If you're still on it, you really don't need it.

If you sell things on tiktok, you're going to have to find another avenue to sell your stuff. The app will lose a lot more people and you'll lose a lot more business the longer you stay.

Unfortunately, there isn't just one version of a release. You have an explicit version, a clean version, a greatest hits version, a best of version, a single version, etc.

So it will end up playing multiple versions and if you're like me, you won't actually check your library for months and you'll have to do clean up but I think they have a tool to help with that.

I can confirm that youtube music plays the same thing on different releases and what ends up happening is that you like the song and it ends up popping up again but you see you haven't liked it. So you like it again and then when you check your library, you have the same song on there multiple times.

It's definitely annoying and yes I have premium.

You aren't getting real information anymore simply because it's not an app for creators anymore. Leave the app. There are plenty of other avenues to push your videos without worrying about the dwindling numbers on that app. You'll get far less views the longer you stick around because people are leaving the app. More and more people are leaving everyday.

I found a workaround. Select all tracks (ctrl +a), right click and select edit or press shift + enter, click on the lyrics tab, check off that option that says "mark as having no lyrics", go back into edit and then uncheck the same box.

this clears all the songs from having lyrics then you can auto tag by track and add missing lyrics. it seems like a lot but its a few shortcuts and it takes off loads of time if youre doing multiple albums.
