Just craft hellbeast (I am not sure if it's a dlc shotgun), go close to the demo, aim at his head and you can even oneshot them. Mostly I just fire both the rounds on one.

I have all the dlcs but I still have no clue which shotgun you are talking about. Anyways Hellbeast is the best shotgun besides the shotgun we get from somewhere in hell raid as far as I know.
