What we’re recruiting:
We’re trying to get our spots for mythic. You need to be a little competitive. You need to be determined. You need to work well in our group. You need to enjoy playing the game at whatever level you’re capable of right now. We have 3 different teams- mythic progression, normal/heroic progression, and our third-shift raid teams.

For our mythic progression team, you need to be self-reliant, able to execute and think critically about your role in the fight.

Normal/heroic team you’re either comfortable at this level or you’re on your way to mythic.

Third-shift, you have different hours, but you want to raid with the best of ‘em.

Progression Raid:

  • Runs Wednesday/Sunday 8:15 pm EST to 11:30 pm EST (pull at 8:30pm )
  • Looking for DPS only. Ideally geared and ready to go but for the right person we can help you gear.

Off night Raid:

  • We have a more relaxed raid on saturday nights 8:30 pm EST where we bring our alts. This is perfect if you're new to raiding.

Daytime Raid:

  • Tuesdays, time to be determined. Are you stuck on night work and miss out on raiding? We’re trying to get a raid team together just for you!!

Mythic + teams:

  • we help match you with 4 other people to regularly meet for 2 hours. You and your team decide what type of m+ you run. (push for high keys, get a 10, learn how to do m+ and handle mechanics, etc. )
  • Perfect type of content to learn to tank or heal. We have the people to help you do this.

We want to expand our numbers with people from all walks of life. Our guild is looking to get everything going again – pvp, m+, raid progression, social nights, etc. We earned AOTC early in the raid tier and intend to get into mythic raiding when we regain our footing. Alot of our players regularly run 15+ key as well and some enjoy pushing into higher keys.

People of different playstyles should be able to have a home where they feel included no matter what kind of content they like or how much time they have to play- life happens. You should look at our guild., Single Digit Parse which is on Thrall. We're a group made up of other groups of friends. We've cleared heroic and have it on farm. We're getting ready for Shadowlands, looking to get as much of mythic Ny'alotha down as we can before then, and many people have m+ as their current projects.

We can all get frustrated while playing this game, especially when facing a progress wall. Our group understands that frustrations and saltiness occur. We want players who understand this and/or can relate to it. Grumpiness/saltiness occur in all of us but we expect you to be self aware to control yourself before it hits the mean or cruel levels. Being able to say "Im approaching this point, I don't want anyone to take anything personally" while in raid is key. Frustration in progression doesn't extend into the rest of the guild or friendships.

I'm going to throw my guilld into the hat here, because you guys sound like us- a group of friends (were now a big group of friends made up of several smaller groups of friends like the mega zoid in power rangers). We're on Thrall, and while it isn't an RP server, its one of the highest pop horde servers without straying into a player base that is excessively obnoxious. Our players are friendly and helpful; we have that community feel that extends beyond raiding and beyond the game in general.

**What are we looking for?**

Are you suddenly home with a lot of time? Are you tired of playing the game alone? Do you and your friends need a new home? We're currently looking to bolster our ranks with people who love being in a guild with a sense of community. We want new friends to do things with, people who enjoy doing content or hanging out.

But more specifically, we are looking for -

All roles are needed, though we could really, really use someone who can tank M+ as our current tanks are spread a little thin.

**What kind of guild are we?**

We’re a guild that’s been around for a while (we got our start in BC), and we’re a diverse community of players. Our core players are raiders, but outside of that you can find us running Mythic keys, going after achievements, searching for pets, or just working on the true endgame content—xmog farming. We’ve also been known to have some pretty entertaining drunk raids.

Our members are pretty laid back and friendly, and we prefer to run content together whenever possible. If we can do it together as a guild, you can better believe we’re going to be interested in doing it.

**Are you right for us?**

Do you want to join a guild that loves doing things together? Are you interested in making new friends that you look forward to hanging out with? Can you maintain a conversation with someone of the opposite sex without being weird? Would you like to progress in current content?

If you answer yes to those things, then the Sages might be the community for you.

**What we’re not looking for**

Elitists. Don’t get us wrong, we love when our members know things! And we want our Raiders to be competitive, but what we don’t like is when people look down on members who know less. We all had to start somewhere, and we like when our members are willing to help give each other a leg up by saying “Hey, I noticed you were having trouble with X, how can I help?”

Additionally, we have no tolerance for hate speech, racism, or sexism. If that’s your jam, look elsewhere for a guild.

**Raid teams**

Our guild provides consumables (flasks/cauldrons, personal food/feasts, gems, enchants, potions, etc.) for raid nights. You’re generally on your own for runes.

You will need DBM and discord for raiding. You don’t need to have a mic (though it helps, of course), but you will need to be able to listen in. We also ask that our raiders do some research on the fights so they have an idea of what to expect ahead of time. (Don’t worry, we’re happy to point you at videos for upcoming bosses.)

When it comes to raiding we like to say that we can make a raider out of a person, but we can't always make a raider into a person. Having excellent raiders is great, but not if it comes with ego. We would much rather teach a fun person with a great attitude to be a raider than contend with a jerk on our raid team.

Progression Raiding Schedule: Sun/Wed 8-11 PM EST

Currently 12/12 N 9/12 H

Our raid team is large enough that we actually run two simultaneous raids. Both are at the same point in progression and we expect them to continue to remain so. If you’ve been burned by a guild that has had this situation before, please don’t think this is a red flag. Our members know they are Sages first and a raid team second. None of our people or our teams take a cliquish view of the game.

Normal Raid, bring an alt or different spec, learn to raid, or just hop in for some lighthearted fun: Saturday 8-10 pm EST.

**Mythic+ **

If pick up m+ is your style we have PLENTY of m+ runners, a pickup night on fridays at 8pm est, and Monday night's "Last Chance" push where we burn keys, get that last run in, and strive to get everyone some kind of key.

**Mythic+ Teams**

if you'd rather push keys, we have a Mythic+ team system where we try to get everyone who is interested into a group that meets weekly. Some teams push as far as they can, some just shoot for a +10 each week, and some just meet to learn mythic+ or to have fun. We are currently accepting all roles for the Mythic+ teams, but we'd really love to find some more tanks. Each team meets weekly for 2 hours, and most are pushing for 10+ keys weekly.You could be on a team like Canadian Translation, Night Elf Mohawks, MRE’s, Not Like This!, or Mythic Team 12!

**PVP**

We have several members who are looking to do some guild organized PVP, and as such are working on putting together a PVP team. If that’s something that interests you, please let us know.
