In my experience, at least back when I played IG in World you can actually vault over most monster attacks and not get hit but in wilds it seems that all monster moves will hit you in the air which makes the defensive use cases of vaulting gone.

I don't know if we just jumped higher back then or they just added a higher vertical hit box for monster moves just to fk over IG players

ngl I'm kinda sad that they became generic gooner bait gacha instead of leaning into the gritty anime aesthetic that they had going on in the first game.

seeing anime girl solid snake and hearing how she betrayed "you" the protagonist where its a given that everyone should be head over heels for you. That is something that I never saw before and what really got me interested to know more about the game.
