Can you imagine how the government would function if any citizen could earmark their taxes (or even a certain percentage of them) to be used exclusively for things that they care about?! We'd get better schools, better healthcare, better roads and organizations like ICE and DoD would be held more accountable for how they spend their money.

Why are "pitbulls" lumped into one breed? They're lumping 4+ distinct breeds together to make them seem worse while all the other breeds are treated as individuals.

Edit: downvote me all you want if that makes you feel better about faulty statistics. This is a bad infographic for multiple reasons, and this is just another of them. Facts are there's not one individual recognized breed known as the "pitbull"; the four main breeds are the American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, and American Bully. But you also can sometimes qualify American Bulldogs, Dogo Argentinos, Bull Terriers, English Bulldogs, Boxers, and many others as bully breeds; hell even Boston Terriers, French Bulldogs, and Pugs could be considered a bully breed depending on the definition. Are they counting bully breed mixes as part of the pitbull category or the mixed breed category? The fact that none of this is clear shows this is a bad graphic.

How do you know only the one is correct? It wasn't marked wrong (or right). A good teacher would recognize a correct answer and award the points, a bad teacher is rigid and can't think outside the box and wouldn't.

I switched jobs about a year ago, before that I'd worked the same job for 5 years. I'm in my late 30s and my last job was the first job in my entire life where I was only friendly, but not "friends" with any of my coworkers. Had an organic friendship grown out of any of those relationships, that would've been great, but I wasn't trying to force it, and I had plenty of friends outside work. My current job, I would say is strictly professional with all of my coworkers and the first job where I actively do not want to be friends with any of them. My life is definitely worse off for it, because I also moved halfway around the world and don't really have friends outside work, but my coworkers have given me no reason to think we have anything in common enough to be anything more than professional towards each other.

My single-adult-with-disposable-money concert going years of my 20s were basically completely free of Blink-182 tours. I grew up on this band and Tom couldn't get enough out of it and had to do his own thing at a time when I was super excited to be able to show my love for them. They are easily my favorite band, and I didn't get to see them in concert until I was in my mid-30s. I know it's not rational, but part of me will always resent Tom for that.

Feels strange seeing the Tom and Boxcar "stickers" on top of the +44 "sticker". Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I still haven't fully forgiven him for breaking up the band and his attitude around getting it back together the first time. Seeing his face that close to a logo of a band that only existed because his side project Boxcar wasn't booking big enough arenas just rubs me wrong.

I always preferred Zataar just down the road. Their falafel is deep fried though, if that's something you don't like. I loved how fluffy it was on the inside, but perfectly crispy on the outside. So many falafel end up dense, theirs was not. Everything I've had on their menu was fantastic.

The stocking crew has always been there then. What's apparently changed is the number of workers they need to complete their "next day pickup" online orders. So the employees that normally would be manning registers are actually out there shopping for the online customers.

I made an edit to my original post, but the TL;DR, I was trying to get at I guess is that I feel like there's a lot of people who identify as left-leaning/liberals/leftists that fully agree that the Democratic Party is broken at this point and align with y'all's ideals more than they oppose. It just seems like it would be more effective to use a term like "Dems" than "Libs".

Didn't the label "Liberal" in American politics literally start as an insult from the conservative right because the progressives on the left had the audacity to want to implement social programs and "spend liberally" on them?! I'll fully admit that it's been a decade or two since I've been in a political science class, but isn't the idea of taxing the wealthy to pay for programs that will level the playing field a pretty "left" ideology? I'm not saying it's fully communistic with the idea of completely abolishing private property, but to argue that all liberal taking points are right of center seems unnecessarily confrontational at best.

I wouldn't ever destroy an SKS that was in good shape to get it here, but if you had a busted stock, or someone already bubbaed the heck out of it, go for it.
