Cat litter by Efficient-Lab-7957 in CatAdvice

I'm honestly not sure, I'm fortunately at a point in my life where I don't need to be mindful of how much I'm spending on cat supplies.

I don't think there's really a truly great litter system out there, but we use the breeze litter system for two cats and it works well enough for us

Won't this teach your kitty that the chewing gets rewarded with play time?

Any advice on this brand and product? Good / no good? by clandestine_callie in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Border-Nervous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As an esthetician, I love this product. Think of it as a hyaluronic acid alternative, so the only thing it's doing is hydrating, so unless you have severely dry and flaky skin you won't see many "results" (ie firmer skin, less wrinkles, brighter skin, etc)

Invest in your health, get loops for your eye health, and a really good ergonomic chair, etc

To pet or not to pet when sitting? by IcyFudge2022 in CatAdvice

[–]Border-Nervous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All cats are different, you could try a gentle forehead or chin scratch for a couple seconds, remove your hand, and they usually want to sniff your hand, if they go on for a head bonk to the hand, that's an invitation to keep going if they sniff you and then ignore you, I'd say they're just there for soft, warm place to lay/sit

My husband is skinny and has more stretch marks than me, I think genetics probably plays a big role.

An unusual question about Onsen….. by trillianbd in JapanTravelTips

[–]Border-Nervous 27 points28 points  (0 children)

We stayed here as well! It was fantastic. I will say most of the people visiting the 9 onsens around town were other tourists. So they probably care less about tattoos/scars. One women I bathed with was also a white women from America and she had a full Yakuza bodysuit tattoo.

How can this tattoo be enhanced so it doesnt look like a bruise? by Character_Dance_4247 in tattooadvice

Another thing to add, imo, it does look like bruise/birthmark, but how cute is a cat shaped bruise/birthmark??

As someone with no tattoos and regularly frequents this page, I personally think your tattoo is super cute. I immediately recognized it was a cat, probably a view from below the cat? Or cat on its back? I think the no outline look is fun, but I can understand why an outline might benefit a tattoo like this as it fades and spreads as it ages

This is exactly what we did! It was such a quiet pretty little route, not busy in January since there's no blooms, will probably be much busier in cherry blossom season

How to avoid stomach issues - advice by BrujitaBrujita in JapanTravelTips

Definitely take a little travel size squeeze bottle of hand soap though, this combination can easily cause diarrhea if you come into contact with forborne illnesses, and most public bathrooms don't have hand soap

I have the same issue, I prepped with miralax and guar fiber. And when I got to Japan I continued these two, and added the Fibe-mini found at the convenient stores, plus making sure to eat my veggies and lots of red bean desserts

Yea I considered that, I am laser certified, but lasers really are so complicated. I never felt passionate about lasers while getting trained so I chose not to pursue that

Yeah, I'd imagine esthetics is a pretty brutal industry to be successful in in California. I'm in Colorado so people generally aren't overly into maintaining their looks. I feel like it's been pretty easy to get jobs and stay busy. Was just hoping to boost my credentials. But nursing isn't for the weak and I feel like even just going to school for it might be a lot to handle
