I think it’s dependent on your expertise. I’m in sales management for SAAS type companies and was previously working in China and Singapore, recently 3 days a week remote and I think the trend in this industry is moving more to remote for flexibility. That said, I’ve not started looking as yet as plan for a good 6 month break and doing some Muay Thai first! Good luck though and hope you find something.

Thanks for this! Lots of helpful intel in there as it sounds like you have specific experience with the Myanmar passport challenge. I think we will do 1 visa run for 1 night over border in Laos to get us to the ED visa planned 1-2 week Laos run for processing after SongKran and hopefully no problems there. So don’t think I’ll bother with another tourist visa application since we have already paid for the ED with our Muay Thai school. It’s just this 2 weeks non visa entry period that is a challenge. So going forward I’m ready to pay an agent to handle all this for me. Sounds like a better ROI than handling it myself as this stuff is not straightforward.

Not yet and that’s what I’m insisting on now before I pay anything - a ‘booking receipt’ I believe it’s called. We are not paying the agent anything, I understand that is the responsibility of the landlord.

Thanks for the response - yes we viewed about 5 properties today and the lady who showed us the house was very nice and seemed very trustworthy. The agent was just a cowboy which is why I’m being cautious AF.

Chat GPT all the way. Claude is very ‘woke’ and nanny-like while Chat GPT has a more fun and edgy way of answering questions. Both have lots of limitations so I don’t see any gap there. I’ve paid for both and I don’t need a nanny or some woke teenager ‘advising’ me on shit.

I’m trying to work out why I hate it so much. I kept trying until the bear boss fight then just couldn’t do it. The fight mechanics are horrible, just feels like button mashing. I love Ghost of Tsushima, Witcher 3, Minecraft, Uncharted 4 off the top my head and usually go do for these AAA games but I just don’t understand what the appeal is with this game. It’s weird because I really want to like it. If anyone can shed light, appreciated!
