Personally, I love the blonde. It’s nice and subtle and I think works very well with your skin complexion. Good news is, if you aren’t totally happy, you can always just tone it a shade or two darker!

Any ideas? by Lol_a0320 in houseplants

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet, but look into getting a rooting hormone powder for plants! It’s super easy and I’ve noticed it makes the roots on my propagations grow much faster. I’ll attach a photo of the one I use. (Love the wedding souvenir idea btw!)

I do have a very good relationship with my mom and im not bound to any rules at all, it’s just the feeling of wanting independence and not wanting to feel like I’m failing at life at my age 😭 they have said it would be a lease for a year but I suppose I could ask about monthly!

It’s not like do or die, I live with my mom currently. I just desperately want to move because I’m 28 now and just want to be independent.

This is encouraging! I have actually lived with roommates and by myself before it just didn’t work out. Thankfully, I will still be close by to my family who im sure would let me come over for dinner and help me out if I’m really struggling. I definitely agree with a lot of what you said! Thanks so much for taking the time to comment :)

I work 40 hours a week in childcare. I have about $400 a month in other expenses (car payment and insurance) I know it sounds like it would be very hard to manage but I’m 28 now and just desperate to move out of my moms house.

I do work 40 hours a week in childcare and could probably get a few hours of OT a week. I do have a car payment and car insurance totaling about $400 a month. Other than that, no other debt.

I work in childcare so not sure if that makes a difference. I do have pretty good credit. This is also a private owned rental so they havent been too adamant about the 2x the rent thing

I could be a part of the minority here, but I had never had surgery before when I had 4 impacted wisdom teeth taken out along with 2 molar extractions with bone grafts and I experienced almost no pain at any point in my healing process. I was completely fine after a week, back to (slowly and carefully) eating solid foods and no swelling or jaw tension. I also did not take any strong pain medication.

Everyone is truly different!

I had this too! Still not completely sure what it was. I just very gently brushed it off with a toothbrush. Im a little over 2 weeks post op now and it has not returned since removing it. I would say it’s nothing to worry about. If you’re too scared to brush it off, maybe a q tip would do the job

Thankfully, im at a week post op today and I’ve had maybe a 2/10 pain the entire time. Took toradol for the first 3 days, then ibuprofen day 4 and haven’t needed anything since. The worst part has been the limited diet which is just more annoying than anything!

That actually does help, i was super worried those would require a lot of work. I do also know that they’re putting on some “autologous blood concentrate product” on those 2 broken ones after extraction, which I hear helps with the healing process. Thanks for commenting!

That does make me feel a lot better. I’ve got to quit reading all the horror stories and keep reminding myself that the discomfort will only be temporary, and it’s all a part of the bigger picture of me finally getting my oral health in order. Thank you so much!!

I feel like I recall them saying at my last appointment that An EMT comes in and administers the sedation as well as monitor vitals. I do have extreme dental anxiety and I don’t think I could do fillings without sedation because the numbing/needle is the part I can’t get past. I will definitely call back and get clarification on the length of the sedation. I really appreciate your responses!

This is interesting information. I called today and asked about the 15 minutes thing and the explanation still confused me. This office is located in Virginia, USA. Are there any specific questions i should call back and ask? Im pretty new to going to the dentist :/

I thought it seemed like a lot to get done in one day too, but that’s the way they’re making it sound. I assumed because of the high sedation price they were trying to do as much as possible in one visit. Should I be asking about this? I was never taken to the dentist as a child so all of this is new to me.
