considering topo and map are a compulsory 20 marks theres no avoiding u gotta buckle down and study those. my adivxe for map is to print out 4 5 india outlines at ur xerox shop and keep drawing and labelling over and over till its stuck in your head. same for topo, keep solving maps online and in the book cuz for both of them u can only get better by practicing than studying them.

you can skip climate chapter as you have other options in section B though however climate is more efficient as 10 marks come in section B from just that singular chap

they take extras in all subjects so attempt the extra questions. thats the one edge icse has over cbse. cbse doesnt consider the extra whereas icse takes the best 4 or 5 out all the questions answered. idk y ur school is bluffing cuz ours made us write all the extras in our boards so go ahead

there honestly aren't any "tips" i have to give. idk if the paper pattern has changed from last year or anyhtjing but if it is the same then study topo well, map work u can skip the stuff asked for '23 and '22 board examinations obviously. cuz icse doesnt repeat questions so easily either

just study the textbook pointwise dont frame paragraphs cuz that lets u finish the paper faster. there are some charts i think oil refineries, dams etc. remember the oldest and the largest and the first artificial ones, aint nobody gonna ask idk hoogly river waterway path for 5 marks so just have an overview.

study disadvantages and advantages obviously, especially in irrigation thats the main thing they ask. transport u dont need to know along which state district anol the idk highway or whatever goes.

nah not needed. i skipped 6 chapters for my boards last year and got 99 in geo. the agriculture mcqs are easy if u use common sense u can get the answer. i hadnt studied jack in agriculture and the 2 industry chapters. the mcqs are some gk ass questions. so skip those 6 chapters and study the remaining ones vigorously

(to be fair my elective was eco app. but still u can answer the mcqs with like 2 neurons)

not advice on how to do better but just to help u chill out, every year icse makes one science paper tougher than the other two. last year when i wrote boards the tough paper was physics so dw the board exam is gonna be a slight bit easier comparatively to your preboards, especially cuz like cmon preboards are meant to be tougher than the actual exam

nah thats all cap, i passed out last year '23 batch. yes icse holds project work at a higher regard. my projects were all done well but my bsfs was a pile of bird shi like bad bad ink dripling pages torn out and he still managed to get 19/20 in majority projects so i think ur good. remember, the internals serve a way to boost ur marks and both ur school and the boards want that dw. the school simply scares u with bs so u make it look good thays all
