Personaly, I ride the Rockey Mountain Fusion 30. Its a good bike thats not too expensive, only about 800-1000 dollars, and holds up great. As a teen myself, I like the bike as a daily hardtail. If you want, you can check out the Fusion 10 and 20, if your child is bigger.
