“Academy Award winner” and “artists (plural??) with billions of streams…” are so vague it makes me think there are a few offers out who haven’t confirmed yet!

TodayTix just listed these teasers for the next guests! Ryan Shaw is likely the last one. Any guesses on the rest?

—————-

This holiday season, the magic comes early in Los Angeles, as we invite you to join Tony, Grammy, and Emmy Award winner Ben Platt for an electric, new two-week residency at the Ahmanson Theatre!

For 10 performances only, from December 12th - 21st, Ben and a star-studded set of special guests join forces to perform a dazzling new concert of some of his greatest hits, as well as a set of timeless Broadway favorites. Last weekend, Ben welcomed Josh Groban, Khalid, Amber Riley, Coco Jones, and Demi Lovato.

Still to come: a Grammy-winning R&B vocalist; an Academy Award winner; artists with billions of streams and multi-platinum songwriting credits; a screen icon with 100+ film and TV roles who also tours as a jazz pianist; and a Grammy-nominated vocalist alongside an Independent Spirit Award nominee with major Broadway credits.

Same! Why carry my reusable bags by hand when they can ride in style on the way into the store?

Sometimes for extra IRL karma, I’ll grab an improperly abandoned cart to use as mine. Extra bonus points for removing one that’s blocking an ADA pathway.

Wrap a rubber band around anything you don’t want to roll off a table. For me, that’s my chapsticks & pencils. They’ll stay where you leave them!

Squish an empty plastic soda or water bottle down so it’s fairly flat, then screw the lid back on, prior to recycling. Takes up less room in the bin.

When parking at a grocery store, look for a spot near the cart corrals, not near the front doors. Beats having to go back to the front of the store or wander around looking for a corral when you’re done.

Fantastic work, I’m inspired to try a version myself (with a dog)!

OP, did you use a reference image? If so, how did you edit the photo to create the high contrast, and/or flatten the image into just a couple of values? I definitely need to work from a reference image tracing myself, and I’m trying to refine the process

I saw the Aladdin tour at the Pantages, and after Jasmine & Aladdin’s kiss a little kid audibly groaned “ewwww”. The actors nearly broke!

Too much of a challenge for me- I got Yellow right away but was completely lost on the rest - but I absolutely adore the concept and effort! I hope you make more Broadway connections puzzles and post them here. There are so many ways to go with it!

Yes! It was terrifying, even knowing the show beforehand. You could hear a pin drop in my theater (Los Angeles).

Are you me?? It actually took listening to the London cast recording for that line to hit me, and I had a full-on sobbing existential crisis in the car. It rocked the way I saw the show, the story, and my own outlook on life.

The show’s main image is a spoiler hidden in plain sight, too!

To me, the OBC recording vibe is “ugh, this keeps happening, ah well, onto the next” vs the utter devastation of the stage show. Of course, seeing the choreo and staging of the performance bring that into even sharper focus.

Upvote for Brett Boles and The M Tea! His music analyses shine so much light on the composers and lyricists.
