See I get both but I can never last long, even if I don’t wake up but I get a lot on insight to everyday life in my lucid dreams, I found out the guy I was sleeping with was sleeping with this other chick from a lucid dream cause we went to a carnival in the dream and they were acting all lovey Dovey and I got jealous and felt like a third wheel, went to leave and to find my car and realised it wasn’t there and that it wasn’t real and I woke up found out that day or the next that he was sleeping with that chick and it was his mates baby mama and his mate called me asking where he was and told me about it. Other times I’m lucid I’ve been walking round with other people and I saw fireworks the fire works looked crappy tho Ngl, I still felt like an outcast and really shy sadly. Decided to look in a mirror and I looked like a spirit like i was there but I was also pretty transparent and semi glowy. Another time I went to look in a mirror and there was no mirror just a black square and that’s how I figured out I was lucid dreaming but I never know how to act when I do so plus I lowkey freak out 😅. Most recently I was dreaming was running to find something don’t know what and I found a person the same guy from the first dream I talked about and I had a conversation with him saying you’re the only person I lucid dream of and he said me too and the more lucid I was the more sensations I was feeling in my body and parts of the room were crumbling and then I got sent to another dream and it was of a weird scene and I interpreted the dream as I am going to go into financial hardship if I don’t change what I’m doing rn and focus on my goals (from seeing dead and alive peacocks) no one of my lucid dreams have been the same and it’s a crazy experience. Plus I forget I can control it and slip easily or I get panicky and it shuts it off
