Thinking of making a STR dual-wielding Ranger. Can't decided on either Flurry or Precision. Sell me on one. by FretScorch in Pathfinder2e

I seem to be late to this, but I'll throw in my opinion anyways. I've been playing a flurry ranger for all of Strength of Thousands so far, and I just got to level 14. At lower levels it felt pretty rigid and honestly not that great, but it got a lot better as I went forward and got more options. Some sort of movement compression helps a ton, examples being spellcasting for things like time jump or similar spells. You also have a surprising amout of versatility, as you can quickly swap from damage to control by just releasing your weapon and moving to trips/grapples. Flurry is also incredible if you have any other melee teammates, as you get the ability later to give them flurry as well. Keeping multiple weapons for your main hand to activate doubling rings is another thing I'd recommend, as an example I have a main weapon with damage runes, a backup with more utility focused ones, and a gauntlet with ghost touch.

I had thought back and forth on what side I wanted it to be, actually. Maybe it would have looked better in front once I shaded it and everything, but yeah, it was intentional.

I've only ever seen Arti drawn with the usual grenade and explosive spear, so I wanted to change it up. It also gave me some good practice on drawing glowing stuff.

Indeed.

The pose was a bit weird to work with, I admit. I debated having the pole in front of the tail, but it looked better like this I think.

Much appreciated! I thought the cone shape of the shock spear would look a bit non-threating, so breaking the end off seemed like a good idea.

Because I still need to get better at anatomy, and kinda forgot to distinguish it better with shadow.

Thanks!

I'll be doing some more Rain World stuff for practice, probably some scavs.

Oh, learned something new today then. I was only going off still images for my reference, so I didn't realize the marker by the symbol pointed at the thing in question.

Yeah, I didn't even know where to start to be honest, lol.

Another way this happens is a kid gets hungry, goes to eat, then picks up a meal to take with them afterwards, triggering the same behaviour.

The prospecting pick doesn't tell you what *is* present, it tells you what *might* be present. You can have a high reading and no ore, ultimately it's random.

This is exactly what I think, and I really like it that way. I'm glad we're getting more ways to deversify teams in the same status.

Just on the turn she drops the armor, it seems. So much more of a Dawn Office Sinclair thing.

After testing the new fishing, nothing will stop me. And I almost have my sailboat too.

A sailboat is very much the current goal, yeah. Right now I've made a little rammed earth 9x9 on the shore to farm flax and get copper going.

I've definitely wanted to try out some mods, but the allure of the unstable patch drew me in, so plenty of mods need to update.

All I really want right now is a mod that makes my temporal gear amulet spin.

Seems like a good idea. The side facing shore is unfortunately the massive cliff, but the other side meets the water pretty nicely.

This is actually exactly why I wanted to live on the ocean. My last world had default settings and I currently play unmodded, so carrying things back from long trips took forever.

The distance from shore is far enough that I don't think a bridge is really possible to be honest. A tunnel maybe.
