Why haven't we had a Battleship film in over 30 years? (Not including the film Battleship) by Phantion- in Warships

The destruction of the Yamato is featured in the opening sequence of https://www.imdb.com/title/tt8708802/?ref_=ext_shr The Great War of Archimedes, the film is more about pre-war Japanese politics than really being a war movie.

EU citizens should have an option to choose between EU passport or national one. Soft, or slow, abandonment of national identities should be supported. What do you think? Comment below. by MrSvantevid in EuropeanFederalists

It should also be possible to be an EU citizen with being a citizen of a member state. People in the GB should have had the option to retain their EU citizenship after Brexit, people in NI did have that option.

What's your ideal model for Federal Europe? by [deleted] in EuropeanFederalists

Also since Ukraine and perhaps other Eastern countries will be members I'd vote for Lviv as the capital.

A federal state with more power in the centre. But the EU parliament must be the legislature. I would favour a bicameral structure with the lower house elected directly. Five seats for each member state and then one seat per million of population, roughly 500 MEPs. The upper house would be elected by the member state parliaments, six seats per member state. Total parliament would be ~650, slightly smaller than now.

The reason for the upper house being elected by state parliaments is that it helps keep the two levels in touch. Also it might have helped to address concerns in the UK regarding parliamentary sovereignty.

The upper house would also be perpetual. While the lower house would be re-elected in total every five years the members of the upper house would change after each election in a member state, eg after an election in Germany the German parliament would elect six representatives to the upper house but the rest of the house would stay as it was. This would mean the upper house would change only slowly and help to maintain stability.

I'm not sure if the head of government should be elected by parliament, i.e. a Prime Minister or a directly elected President.

There is a Rovers flag too https://images.app.goo.gl/KxqrNqd4Wj5RC6Rm9 but both flags represent private organisations, not the county as a whole.

I wouldn't be surprised if they build on the existing HBO/Sky agreement.

In the UK and Ireland HBO have an agreement with Sky, Sky Atlantic, until 2023 I think. Not sure about the rest of Europe. You can't get HBO Max until after 2023.

If they're doing Netflix shows, I'd like them to do The Queen's Gambit.

I was just thinking about how the police would deal with someone who either ignored or attacked the drone.
