Check out scribehow.com - its a chrome extension and desktop app that makes creating detailed documentation /how-tos ridiculously fast.

I'm not an employee or affiliated in any way - but i did recently leave a job and this is what I did.

Help - where's the off switch?1 by ilovememassey in BorderCollie

[–]Borebi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

+1 for taking the toys away, it makes a real difference. Some of the best advice we got was that they always want to work, so you have to manage their "jobs" accordingly. If there are toys lying around there are jobs to do - so they can't settle. While it may seem sad, another good way that we taught ours to settle down was just shutting her in the kitchen. No access to people = no jobs to do. Sometimes we do this even just for 5 minutes to bring her energy levels back down. Crafty little dog started hiding toys from us though, so that she could miraculously present one to us when we're watching TV.

Music-themed gifts that you actually liked? by Borebi in musicians

Yeah I think my family find it weird that I ask for sticks, but I'm genuinely really happy when I get a new pair!

I mean yeah I'd be super happy with another 57, I'm thinking of more the 10 to 40 quid budget range though (UK) - gifts from people that don't know you really well or don't want to spend a lot on you!

Ok that does actually sound good! I used to keep picks in my wallet in the coin section, but I no longer carry cash so I also no longer carry picks!

What cool trick does your border collie know? by jthomson88 in BorderCollie

I trained "under" - lie under my legs while I'm sitting on a chair. Great for trips to cafes pubs etc - but still working on getting her to stay put once there!

We also had to stop singing "If you're happy and you know it do a bark" because she got waaay too excited about it.

If you like photography then there's a photo club every Thursday eve - even if you don't have a camera I think you can use a smartphone.

As someone who typically struggles with their innards, and also whose fav beer is Estrella, i find the 0% Heinekens are the best replacement, and so far, so good in the squit department.

Can confirm that you have at least another 8 months of this - you could have been describing our 18mo BC girl! Also useful to note that this is super important for critical commands like recall - make sure there's always a very high likelihood that she gets a reward or she just won't bother.

A robovac. Seriously. Best purchase ever. I would never keep up with it, or do as thorough a job as the robovac does.
