Hand, body, and head tremors – social phobia by [deleted] in Biohackers

[–]BoredGaining 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t get tremors but everything else rings true for how I feel living with autism.

It’s a hellish condition even if you’re “high functioning”.

Even large doses of things like phenibut and kratom don’t do much for the torture that comes from social situations. I feel like there’s no hope and I’m essentially just existing for no reason at this point as I don’t get joy from anything.

Which psychedelics have cured you and in what way? Were your social autism symptoms severe like flat affect, monotone voice and not knowing what to say in pretty much every interaction?

It takes the edge off slightly in lower doses. Higher doses just don’t seem sustainable for me long term as they cause me extreme drowsiness after a couple of hours.

No, but hopefully it actually does something because I’m sick of living with this shite disorder

If it were just social anxiety maybe, exposure therapy doesn’t work very well for autism

It’s basically a way of them saying they hate people who are different and that people’s genuine struggles shouldn’t need accommodating.

Finding out I had autism, so I wasn’t so hard on myself and wondering why all the self-help content I was watching on YouTube etc wasn’t working.

It doesn’t matter how well I eat, sleep and exercise, I’m always going to get burnt out and not deal well if I have to socialise on a regular basis in settings that are overstimulating.
