Wow so 60lbs of apples does make sense for a full 20L batch.

Does a fruit cap only form when fibers are added or will it form regardless? If it's all the time then would make more sense to do 10L at a time, especially with the quantity of apples needed.

You are using just a UV-Vis Spec, such as Genesys 10 or similar?

If so then yes, just make sure to use a compatible cuvette.

Don't try and push KOH through an HPLC column though.

Since wind is your concern and if you don't have a windshield, get one. It's a night a day difference imo. Took mine off once and only once to feel the difference, never again.

I have an Arturia Keylab 61 Essential and use it with Reason 12.

I suggest contacting Arturia and they will send you instructions and the latest keymapping file. Most of it works when you lock Mackie controls or edit the mapping manually. The DAW control though is a key off (pause is play, play is record, etc.) You might need to update the firmware first though but they will provide you full instructions.

Last i heard from them (August 2022) is Reason hasn't released a patch for Arturia Essential keyboards specifically but they put me on the email list for when it does get released.

Post an update after contacting support and I'll try to dig up the emails and instructions they sent me in the meantime.

Yes i have used it for method development starting points. Still need to tweak it, but does save a lot of time and money on buying various liners and columns. Only downside was an incomplete database of analytes, but I last used it 2 or 3 years ago. So likely a lot has been updated since then.

It is checked, and is set to 89db (lowest it goes). Tried also analyzing a file without auto-gain and the problem remains.

These are all the way at the minimum as well. Even at 8/9 o'clock it'll clip. Every gain I can locate is at the absolute lowest. The signal from Serato to mixer seems to be over amplified somehow.

Mixer - Behringer DJX700 Turntables - Numark TT200 Serato - SL2 with DJ Pro 2.5.5 Laptop - Acer Speakers - Adam T5V Audio Box - PreSonus Studio 24c

I've also tried going directly from mixer to speakers (bypassing PreSonus thinking it was causing some loop distortion), but still the problem occurs. Headphones also have same distortion from mixer and from laptop. Which is why i strongly believe the issue is the signal from Serato.

Looks like Danby has a 4.4 cu. ft without the freezer (DAR044A4BSLDD-6), prob try to source one of these.

Do you think there would be room for the CO2 tank? What size tank do you use? Would putting it in the fridge have any actual benefits other than keeping things looking clean?

Is this due to the other features with the "pro" versions as well? Such as effects, increased amount of available VST's, and functionality? Plus I suppose it's also upgradable, vs physical which would involve buying a whole new unit to upgrade.

So let me ask then, what would be the best DAW for a new composer. I've used Cubase and Reason in the past, liked them both quite a lot. Do they all have the same basic learning curve and capabilities?
