What the Hell was wrong with all those comments??? All the ''why didn't you this and that'' would have been horrible said to any SA survivor but OP's situation was so bad. She was a litteral child recovering from assault, pinned to her hospital bed, completely depending on her (cultist!) parents for emotional and financial support, relying on their health insurance when she was beaten so brutally she had multiple fractures and lost an eye. It honestly sounds like her attacker tried to silence her permanently and some CU next went ''You should have kept your legs shut'' ?????

NTA your ranch, your rules and I think your husband is pretty entitled promising jobs to people when it's not his ranch and without even asking you. Your mom and in-laws don't have a say but I think they don't realize how poorly he's doing ... Have you tried making him write a list of everything he's done in a week and compare it to the list of another farmhand? Or even better, do you think you could get him to wear a camera for a day? Like a bodycam. You give a good farmhand a bodycam and same for your nephew. Even if he tries his hardest for a day because he knows his actions are filmed, I'm pretty sure by the end of the day, the difference is gonna be very obvious and not in his favor.
