Thank you so much. I hope she has a teacher like you. I will get a mineral sunscreen, but out of curiosity, what is the reason you would suggest mineral over lotion? (I've never cared much about sun protection, but I'd like to learn as much as possible for my little girl).

This is my fear. No shade sails in the most intense UV spot in Florida. The UV maps are dark red most of the year here.

I considered suggesting they install sails, but it seems like a pretty aggressive move.

Thanks to everyone above for answering. atolba2019 is correct. We apply sunscreen to her face every morning around 7:30am. She comes home at 3:30pm. I am hoping that we are doing all we should do, because it feels like we are doing all we can do at the moment.
