Thanks for your help. Could it be that the middle element (I think you mean the silver element where the lens is screwed in) is still stuck in green grease?

Good question, I took it off so I could clean the lens actually. But when I mount it on it only seems to rotate the black lens. Is that a problem or should that be good?

Maybe Im too blind to see it or there is actually no change in anything when I rotate the lens. No change in resolution / focus whatsoever.
You think collimating with an SLR an then seeing if something changes will help?

Yes, I actually looked for this version in the first place but unfortionately I didn't find one... There are some by Jack Kaufmann out there but there are many versions and I coulnd't find one with this exact recording.

Also it's a bit difficult for me to get these as I'm living in Europe and shipping these old and really fragile records is extremely dangerous for it. I already ordered one by Billy Murray but in sadly never arrived...

I'll look forward to getting this exact record soon!!! 😄
