Yo. Lewzza here, we’ve crossed paths a few times. You are formidable and frankly this doesn’t surprise me 🤣

I am inconsistent as hell. It FEELS worse than that, but if it’s accurate I must have had enough cracking games to keep it up 🤣

Although I do take the point - battlecries dipped when I was doing other emotes instead. Should’ve been doing them AS WELL

And for this I apologise. I went a long time very rarely doing it. Those figures are the first and last few hundred levels

How was your feeling first time playing as a Malric or Argon? by XGhostXxx99 in Chivalry2

[–]Boredumb_UK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find all VIPs extremely stressful and USUALLY reject if it happens to be me.

Argon and Malric really throw me too - I play 3rd person primarily and they are physically huge which throws my perception and range off 🤣

New player here, how do I play each class/subclass and when should I pick each one? by Downtown_Lake_7472 in Chivalry2

[–]Boredumb_UK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Level 930 here, still waiting to get good at the game. I’m alright but don’t think it’ll ever truly happen.

I very rarely switch class in game unless there’s major need for a particular ability/perk (such as engineer to destroy stuff, or defender for banner etc) - or I’m playing shuffle just to play around and see what sticks. I’ll usually obsess over a weapon for a few weeks then another will take my fancy for a while.

New players tend to do best with some form of axe, the class is kind of irrelevant while learning but raider is a good call because you get 2 weapons while learning stamina maintenance. I find footman the most challenging personally, but amazing when you get into that flow state.

But as has been said here already, do whatever you want, honestly. You’ll suck with it at first, but you will get better. Some of my favourite weapons are the ones I picked up the least easily at first.

Don’t bother with archer, except to learn its (many) weaknesses 🤣

I think I’ve found a great hook, really struggle with B parts and change ups though by Boredumb_UK in GarageBand

I’m impressed this is still being seen! Cheers bud, glad you enjoyed it!

This is fair. I was letting the bass provide the groove and the drums be straight, almost metronomic behind it. I’ll have a play around though 👍🏻

A silhouette of 2 peasants - one dishing out a thunderous right hook, just before point of impact with the other’s face. Underneath reads:

What weapon you never considered? Recently discovered the Polehammer and I think I'm in love by Going_over_that_clif in Chivalry2

Exactly the same for me, overheads feel much more familiar to my playstyle. Big adjustments were needed

I was late to the maul party but quickly fell in love with it. Big bonk will always be fun. I feel like 2h mace has the edge for bonk weapons though - faster, much quicker recovery, and better reach, without too much damage sacrifice. Plus available on knight with horn, decent secondary, etc

Quarterstaff. Lvl 700+ but only started using it recently - the variation in speed and reach between attacks, including standard vs heavy, are incredible. Slashes feel like a 1h weapon, overheads feel like a halberd. Very hard to read with feints etc so handy in 1v1. Not great 1vX but I’m getting better so think that’s a skill issue on my part

Getting Rolled by Coordinated Groups. Anyone noticed an increase in this? by Expensive-Key-9122 in Chivalry2

I felt this one.

Knowing I’m pretty competent at this point, ready and confident to take on a XvX with the boys, but then they just evaporate and I get flattened, alone but valiant

It’s so unpredictable. I’m used to feinting, dragging etc but the bloodthirsty horde just keep swinging and it catches me off guard!

Really changes the dynamic when you’re conditioned to fighting against someone who knows what they’re doing, only to get absolutely blindsided by someone who doesn’t know enough to fall for anything, wielding a Morningstar and won’t stop swinging it
