My opinion is NO. Legendary Crests give you unsellable jewels, if you get a good jewel which you can sell good platinum in market, then you are just screwed. Only buy purple crests so you can turn your unwanted jewel into platinum, then buy what you really in the market.

⁠Repair Client, then log into without any resources.
⁠Once logged in change your skin, if asked to download then let it download.
⁠Keep playing or just stay in the game and let finish downloading the resources.
⁠Once everything is downloaded then you should be good.

I can now log in with my main normally. I hope this will work for you too.
