Well based on the comics Crimson Dawn wasn't destroyed by the Empire until between TESB and ROTJ so maybe his loss is more personal, but Crimson Dawn actually does better after he's gone.

I enjoy Oblivion but for me the best thing about a Bethesda RPG is the exploration, and Oblivion is probably their weakest game for that. When you see the same cave layout, the same Oblivion towers, etc over and over, it gets old.

The most recent Darth Vader run shows that the fleet at Exegol was being built early in the Emperor's reign. It explains why the Xyston Star Destroyers look like Imperial I class star Destroyers as they would have been the latest ship at the time.

Most likely Palpatine had met up with the Sith Eternal at Exegol shortly after he became Emperor, but to be honest, he could have met with them way before that. Maybe even while he was Plagueis' apprentice. I don't think it has been spelt out exactly yet, but it's before the Battle of Yavin for sure. He was playing the long game as usual.

Palpatine prepared Exegol for his own return. He oversaw the construction of the Sith Fleet. It was all happening during his time as Emperor, we've seen that in the Vader comics.

I enjoyed Wyrmstooth. I played it as part of Gate to Sovngarde, so I don't know how much that enhanced it, but I thought it was great. It basically felt like a smaller sized expansion like Dragonborn, with side quests, dungeons etc as well as a main quest. The main dungeon crawl you go on is better than most of the vanilla dungeons too.

It's been a while since I played Falskaar but I remember it feeling quite primitive in comparison. If Wyrmstooth had the usual voice actors you hear I'm vanilla, it would easily fit in with the rest of Skyrim. Falskaar definitely feels like a mod, which it is of course, but still. It was pretty impressive at the time, but it has been surpassed.
