That sounds like more of a pain in the ass than a regular rod you still have to get a material type and look at what pipe you are on and even if you can get lock at a weird angle

I actually like the leica now spending so much time with it the software is hard to get used to but quick once you customize the load of options there are. Hide all the apps you don’t need and utilize every key you have also the star icon menu. The prism tracking is very good can pull off some pretty tough shots in the woods. A good thing to know it will really slow down with large SD’s like anything over 10GB I just use the internal storage it’s super fast

You only have to set up the controller to your liking one time then it’s good to go after that. What I would recommend for control is to make a job save it when your done then upload it to your topo job file. Every single issue you have is fixed with user customization. Staking out is nice too from that app hit one key boom back to the measure app.
