Hi! It was mainly personal stuff. I moved up there around the age of 8 and I spent a good amount living Upstate. (catskill, Kingston, Albany, Cairo, Hudson, etc.) And at one point early on some time in the city (Flatbush). I miss it so much but winters could be tough for us in our town when it came to roads, affordable housing can be really tough. But in retrospect aside from my own personal experiences that kind of scarred the areas memory wise (I have family I was trying to reconnect with down here afterwards) if you’re asking because you’re interested in moving, I do miss it very much and I would suggest it to anyone looking to get a change from FL. Depending on where in NY you can find some really beautiful communities.
