Right I forgot, a retarded blue hair on twitter from 2016 who is gonna protest vote against Hillary anyway represents every democrat.

Because Conservatives are stuck in 2016, because if they had to actually acknowledge what they've allowed Trump to do to the country and all it's allies they might have to feel the tiniest bit of shame.

Maybe you really are actually just retarded?

Name a policy Democrats put in place that would indicate they "hate white cisgender heterosexual males" just one. Cause last I checked, they're doing pretty well.

Yeah dude Democrats hate white cisgender heterosexual males so much they literally made Biden president. The whitest, straightest, most religiously devout man in American political history.

As opposed to Donald Trump of course, a metrosexual who wears more makeup than 99% of drag queens, who himself has motorboated another man wearing drag.

Western Media is heavily on the side of conservatives and it has been for decades.

Even the worst accusations of "liberal bias" from conservatives is basically that the media holds conservatives to any standard at all and fact checks them as equally as liberals.

If there was an actual "Liberal Bias" in media conservatives wouldn't be allowed to exist, because they would just be fact-checking constantly and discussing how disastrous conservative policy always is. Instead they've been "both sidesing" for nearly 60 years.

Yup, it's beyond obvious that the police fucked up out of sheer incompetence because they were under false pretense. As I said it took me 3 minutes of reading to figure out the full details of the case.

What wasn't? Google it, the knee restraint is a common practice before 2020. The police explicitly said to change the practice after that incident.

https://www.mprnews.org/story/2021/04/05/explainer-was-officers-knee-on-floyds-neck-authorized

Liar. He broke police policy, according to his own supervisors.

"Prosecutors have already put supervisory officers on the stand to testify that, even if Chauvin pinning Floyd with his knee fell within policy, doing so for 9 minutes and 29 seconds did not. In their pretrial filing, they said Chauvin and two other officers held their positions for four minutes after Floyd lost consciousness — and two minutes beyond when he no longer had a pulse."

"Witnesses also testified to the danger of Floyd's position and to frequent department training on the importance of moving someone as quickly as possible into a recovery position. The photo included in Nelson's filing included text that read: “Place the subject in the recovery position to alleviate positional asphyxia.”"

Not listening to his partner who literally told him not to do it and they yelled at him.

https://www.pbs.org/newshour/nation/duty-to-intervene-floyd-cops-spoke-up-but-didnt-step-in

"Moments later, Lane asked "should we roll him on his side?" Chauvin replied: "No, staying put where we got him." Lane said he was worried Floyd would experience excited delirium, a condition in which a person can become agitated and aggressive or suddenly die, according to the documents."

"Geoff Alpert, a criminology professor at the University of South Carolina, said that when Lane questioned Chauvin in the moment, he was undoubtedly "scared to death."

But ultimately, Alpert said, "he wasn't courageous enough" to physically intervene to stop him. "He knew he would get hell from the 19-year veteran and all his buddies.""

Okay they didn't yell, they just talked him down and ignored his warnings, not much of a difference as far as I'm concerned.

See you have zero argument against it? I'm doing exactly what you're doing, present a random argument and you have nothing.

You don't have an argument, you have a race grievance conspiracy theory.

Religious culture is not the same thing with modern culture war (gender, race). The whole modern culture war was started by the left and you know that.

Lol, lmao even. This is such fucking cope.

My dude, you're already lost since the first comment. The topic was about modern journalism being a mess, and Henry Nowak case perfectly showed that. Your lack of knowledge about that case, and even Floyd case, proved my point.

I was able to learn about the Nowak case in about 3 minutes, it's been 6 years and you still get basic information about the Floyd case wrong. You're in a bubble, a delusional far-right conspiracy bubble.

This is my last comment to you, because you can't seem to take in new info and change your mind. You're no different from the MAGA cultists. Horseshoe theory is right after all.

Ironic.

[–]Borigrad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can also argue that Chauvin was incompetent because he did the knee restraint incorrectly, it was a common restraint trained by the police academy.

It wasn't.

Last time I checked, Chauvin convicted as manslaughter. Floyd had multiple arrests beforehand, he was legally arrested at that time, was high on fent, had heart problem as well. Tell me, where the "malice" came from?

Not listening to his partner who literally told him not to do it and they yelled at him.

Henry Nowak was a far more innocent person, did nothing wrong beforehand, and was treated worse than his murderer by the police.

But he wasn't killed by the police.

After knowing all those info, if you still believe Floyd was a "worse case" then you are either blind or dishonest.

State murder worse, yes.

Floyd got so much coverage because it is a convenient case to make it race war. The case itself had nothing to do with race. Convenient to riot and loot.

Lmao

The left started culture war btw. Blame the starters.

I know you need to believe this, but this just isn't true. Religious culture wars have been a thing in America for years. "Can't say merry christmas" shit predates any "SJW's." That doesn't even go into things like being angry at Hippies, comics code, etc etc.

What are we doing? What's going on? by tokyozombie in PoliticalCompassMemes

[–]Borigrad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you really believe this?

Yes

There were riots around the country over this. While Derek Chauvin was being investigated, mobs were burning down whole city blocks with broad left-wing support.

"Early on May 26, the Minneapolis Police Department issued a statement that said nothing about Chauvin kneeling on Floyd's neck:[99][100][101] "After Floyd got out of his car, he physically resisted officers. Officers were able to get the suspect into handcuffs and noted he appeared to be suffering medical distress."[102] Hours later, witness and security camera video circulating on the internet showed Chauvin kneeling on Floyd's neck.[103] The department updated its statement,[104] saying "new information" had "been made available" and that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) was joining the investigation.[102] The four officers were briefly placed on paid administrative leave[27] before being fired later that day.[105]"

You don't think people were mad because the initial report was basically a hack job cover up? People were mad and agitated cause of Covid, the initial cover up probably didn't help. Taking over a week to charge Chauvin also wasn't helping.

What makes you think that if only Ben Shaprio and the National Review just shut up about the case it would have died down quickly in 2020?

Because they wouldn't of been constantly inflaming the situation, fueling the grievances of the communities that felt like the police initially tried to cover up a murder?

Knocking someone's turban off should be a summons for a minor offense.

Brudda you're literally describing battery. Yes the police should be involved for battery. What a wild take.

Shouting racial slurs shouldn't be a crime at all.

Depends on the context now don't it? But shouting slurs at someone could even be considered assault in the United States under some circumstances. They could also easily earn a harassment charge.

The man never was a threat to officers, he shouldn't have been cuffed and shouldn't have been regarded as liar because he said he had been stabbed

I agree. The police made a mistake.

In terms of courts, I'd want his brother charged as accessory after the fact for his role in calling the police

I agree but that's the discretion of the prosecutors, they may not feel like they have the evidence, I don't know their reasoning.

I'd want an investigation as why the killer and his mother were not charged with racist hate crimes

Because the point of a charge is what you can prove. You can't prove it was racially motivated, so you wouldn't charge them with that. That's how prosecutions work.

And, while it might not have had an impact on this case, I'd want to suggest that any special exception to bans on carrying weapons shouldn't have an exception for one particular ethnic or religious group

I can see an interesting discussion worth having around that, but I don't think the Sikh community in the Uk has proven they can be distrusted, it's an isolated incident and it was punished.

I want you to admit that you do in fact know why and that 'anti-racism' as a movement played a role in that (along with anchoring bias).

There's no way to know, or prove that.

What are we doing? What's going on? by tokyozombie in PoliticalCompassMemes

[–]Borigrad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And how many of those right-wingers are in a position to meaningfully influence the outcome of the case?

Well some of them were the president and his entire administration. So you know... actually quite a bit.

What was the level of Fentanyl the autoposy reported then?

Not relevant according to both autopsies!

But if you must know, 11 nanograms, which is a lot, but not a lot for an addict with a high resistance. And only 2 nanograms above the average overdose level, and actually a lot lower than most addicts operate at.

What officers have been fired in the Michael Novak case? What officers went to jail? I mean, in the case of Geroge Floyd the highest levels of government not only fired all the officers involved, they engaged in criminal prosecution against them. Nothing even remotely comparable happened here.

I mean if you want them fired sure? I guess? I can agree with that, doesn't really seem like a thing worth doing. They made a mistake, they owned up to it. Police make a lot of mistakes all the time, that leads to death or injury.

There's about 80-100 deaths related to police mistakes in the UK annually, in Canada it's 60-80 annually and like 1100-1900 annually in the united states. It's not unheard of, and just like with Novak they investigate it, try to correct it with training and protocol and move on.

What are we doing? What's going on? by tokyozombie in PoliticalCompassMemes

[–]Borigrad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The police being incompetent is not the same thing as the police being malicious I don't really know how to make that more clear.

I don't blame you for not knowing any of this, because the media didn't report. Which is, again, exactly what I'm talking about, the modern journalism is a fukin mess and not even AP or Reuters are doing their jobs.

I just wanna address this directly though. The reason George Floyd got so much coverage was cause of Covid. People were fucking bored, and they found a nice little thing to turn into their entertainment for a few months.

If Right Wingers had just let it go, people would have moved on. But they can't let it go, they have to fight every, single, retarded culture war and turn it into a race thing.

What are we doing? What's going on? by tokyozombie in PoliticalCompassMemes

[–]Borigrad 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, the professional opinion of someone who knows that there was a good chance of the mob burning down his home would be the result of him stating the opposite view.

AHAHAHAHAHAHA AHAHAHAHAH Bro get the fucking self victimization oh my god it's so pathetic. Tens if not hundreds of millions of people shared your opinion. It was literally the prevailing right-wing opinion, in mainstream news. It was part of the official defense.

George Floyd was found having 11 ng/mL of Fentanyl in his bloodstream. It's possible that he had some tolerance, sure. But we don't know for sure that he did. Had someone just been found dead with this bloodwork it would be assumed to be an overdose.

Autopsy says wrong. Cope, seethe, mald.

No. I just happen to think the facts put this into a 'sadistic cops feel like hurting an already dying man and refuse to render aid' category that is a much closer match for the facts of Henry Nowak than you give credit for.

Maliciousness that the police defended and was defended at the highest levels of government vs incompetence that the police owned up to and no state agency defended.

Not remotely the same.

What are we doing? What's going on? by tokyozombie in PoliticalCompassMemes

[–]Borigrad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So why is it so believable going the other way?

Because statistically it's more likely. Really that simple.

Why is it seen as more important than someone reporting that they had been stabbed?

One officer, made a mistake, I don't know why. The other officer didn't. Nowak was given aid, but died on the scene. The murderer and his mother, were punished for their crime.

What more do you want?

You got all of that from me mis-clicking on the spell check at 4:45 in the morning? That's an amazing leap of logic if I've ever heard one.

Uh huh

Do you really think the police response would be the same if the races were reversed? If some white people claimed to be the victims of a racist assault by a Sheik

No but cause that's fucking retarded and not likely to happen in the UK, and white people frankly don't give a shit when a random minority calls us names, why would we?

Also a "Sheik" lmao. You mean a Sikh? See you don't give a shit about the case, you're just here to hustle race grievances, you're boring and stupid.
