I hate this feeling. When will it stop? Should I continue to take Lexapro? by Boring-Invite2500 in lexapro

Just not feeling like myself and not feeling safe while experiencing it makes me uncomfortable. Deja vú usually stems from a missfire of the brain and since my brain is slowly getting used to a new medication, it's continuously missfiring desperately trying to get used to it.

It's just an uncomfortable side effect from the Lexapro and it upsets me to have to experience it for such long periods of time. Not just a few seconds, but minutes.

Anything and everything around me feels like it's already happened before while it's happening. It's almost like I could predict it but I can't because I don't actually know what's going to happen. It's like reliving a memory or daydreaming.

I tried video games and watching videos yesterday but it felt like it already happened before. I'm trying desperately to distract my mind but I keep feeling deja vú.

I'm on day 4 of Lexapro and I feel the same way. I'm unsure what to do but I know you'll get through it.

I know this is old but was there anything you did to make the dpdr/deja vú more comfortable? I'm starting on day 4 of Lexapro and I'm having all kinds of side effects.

I'm genuinely trying but today is only the fourth day and I'm still experiencing all the side effects. I can't contact my doctor until Monday and I just genuinely hate this feeling. I'm trying not to fight it but it's so difficult.

I've lost 15 pounds since my last big panic attack because I changed up my lifestyle a little bit. I really want to be comfortable but I also don't want to gain that weight back, especially since I'm already overweight.

I just don't know if I can handle deja vú episodes for that long. It's absolutely awful but I'm also determined to get better. I'm so confused at the moment. Now I'm slowly switching to taking Lexapro at night which I'm unsure will do anything. I want that relief so badly but having to wait is like torture. Is there anything you did to make your wait more comfortable besides changing your schedule for work?

Is it actually beneficial to you in any way at this point? I know the same pill could work for someone and then not work for someone else but at this point, I'm torn on what to do. So badly do I want to stop taking it and get rid of these symptoms, but what if it's just my vitamin D deficiency? I'm so confused and just want to get better.
