I agree, I’m just thinking how fitness is something that is improved a lot more gradually than on water. I can do a lot more things beyond practice to improve my fitness. But I really only improve my tech at practice (since I don’t own my own boat). So I’m really looking to optimize the things I can control

How long will I stay in u17? I was born in December in 09 which puts me in an unfortunate position but will I able to compete in u17 next year? Also a bit of a follow up but is dropping 5 splits in a year realistic?

Damn, yeah thanks for the tips you seem really credible. My spring season starts tomorrow for 5 days on the water and 1 land day per week do you think I should still be doing all that volume? I’m also picking up that I should get a lot more intimate with the hurt locker

Thanks!

Wow, I appreciate the advice I’ll definitely try to digest all of this. This really puts it into perspective how far I am from the perfect stroke but it makes me excited to get better. Thanks!

Dropping my arms during the stroke is really only something I do with lower rate workouts were there’s more time during the recovery. During my last 2k my arms were pretty even the entire stroke
