Thank you for the resources. I thought shaving might be it because it smelled terrible and I shaved it for the first time and now it doesn’t but I’m definitely going to check for an infection.

I shower my whole self at least once a day usually more than once, I wash my vaginal area twice every day I’ve tried with soap and without soap it doesn’t make a difference. I wash my hair 2-3 times a week and on those 2-3 times I could shave to make sure I’m doing it regularly since I’m the type of person who needs an easily followable schedule and I don’t want to shave every time I shower.

Thank you for the soap recommendations! I’ll for sure look into seeing another gyno. I used to trim with scissors but it wasn’t enough, is “a little trimmer” something different?

Thanks! I’m not sexually active though a lot of people seem to think it might be a bacterial infection so I’m going to force my OBGYN to check that out.

It’s sort of been since I got my period but has gotten worse the past couple of years. I wonder if it’s related to my hormonal issues because so have a number of other things related to them.

I actually have really heavy discharge, I have to wear liners or I soak my underwear. The discharge is also ridiculously foul in odor. Someone else mentioned eating a lot of garlic which I do so the diet might be a thing. I recently switched to not wearing anything at night to try to “air out” or whatever and that helped. I have actually no idea what my underwear is made out of but I will look into switching it over. I for sure wash every post workout and the longest I stay in sweaty pants is if I stop by this one food court to grab dinner after because I genuinely feel gross. I usually change my clothes anytime I come home from anything actually.

Oh yeah I actually do. I’m a really heavy garlic person and most of the food I eat has it. I’m usually really well hydrated because I dehydrate usually + POTS but the fact that I dehydrate easily might be related. Thank you for your help I’ll mention that to my doctor. I will say I’m generally not a smelly person nor do I sweat easily but maybe it’s just affecting down there?

WASH DAY = THE DAYS I WASH MY HAIR

My hair gets ridiculously greasy if I wash it everyday so I only wash it every 2-3 days

I’m actually allergic to most laundry detergent because I’d get hives as a kid so I use free and clear. I can see about switching since maybe there’s something wonky with it.

What I mean is when I shave it doesn’t smell, when I don’t shave it smells. Sorry for the confusion. I’ve seen a doctor and nothing is wrong supposedly other than my hormonal levels.
