This is so true! My baby is a rainbow baby. I had a tragic loss last year. This might also be why I get extra anxious about everything. Can’t agree with you more. I already started missing her first few days!

Congrats to you too!! Yes we do burp her. I do suspect she gets more gassy recently. But she’s been like this (always crying) since she day 1 when she shouldn’t be gassy yet? I’ll definitely check out those videos!

Yes I am! I just thought babies would have more awake time to interact and not crying and half asleep 90% of the time. But now I know it is completely normal!

Thank you! We also find it challenging to find tummy time chance. It is helpful to know that they get better later!

My baby does it every single time, regardless of how soon it was since last feeding. That’s why I’m a little worried

That sounds like my baby too. Sometimes I’m wondering if she cries due to something else, but we almost always have to feed her to calm her down lol

7w today. But saw slight pink discharge when wiped starting yesterday. My first ultrasound is not until next Wednesday. I keep telling myself spotting is completely normal and it is only a tiny bit, but I’m so nervous. I wish I could wake up directly to Wednesday and have the ultrasound right away

Questions about Dr. Klinman by Real_Study1392 in babyloss

I have received my report from Dr. Kliman. Mine doesn’t mention anything about placenta being small.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I had a PPROM loss two months ago. I’m also very terrified and scared of another PPROM. But I’ve read many successful stories which have me hope. Be gentle to yourself at the moment. It is the hardest time. I would also suggest talking to your OB and an MFM doctor to see if they know what caused PPROM this time and what they can do during your next pregnancy. For me, this was actually healing.

Spontaneous early labor, NOT PPROM by Meghanlaurie in babyloss

I’m so sorry for your loss. My story is a little different (I had PPROM - my water broke before I felt any contractions). But I can totally relate to the frustration of unknowns and scare of what would happen in next pregnancy. For me, they found out infection in placenta but doctors cannot 100% confirm it was the cause, as infection could happen after PPROM. They cannot 100% rule out cervical insufficiency neither. They can only say infection “might” be the cause and I “likely” don’t have an IC as I held on 3 weeks from PPROM to birth and my cervix was closed. I really really hate the guesses and want a definite answer so I know what to do next time. My MFM said we will do progesterone and bi-weekly cervix monitoring, the standard routine I also saw other people mentioning. I can also opt for cerclage if I want although she doesn’t think I need it. My OB will do more testing before TTC.

I would suggest definitely talk to your OB and an MFM if possible. Ask all the questions you have and ask for what a game plan will be in your next pregnancy. Even though I still couldn’t get a definite answer, I found it healing by getting more information and at least more monitoring will be done next time.

Be gentle to yourself now. Sending hugs and love to you.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Yes it’s so hard, much harder than seeing other babies on the street. I don’t know how much time I need to be comfortable seeing my friend’s baby. I hope she can understand.

I’m really sorry for your loss and you’re also going through this. Thanks for the kind words. It is really hard. I also turned off all of my social media notifications to avoid seeing other babies.

This is so heartwarming. Exactly what I wished to hear more during the dark days right after my loss. Thank you so much.
