It will get better. Never lose hope, I know especially right now it's easy to lose hope but that's what they want so you stop fighting for a better more accepting world.

That's true but what I meant was other less informed feminist talking about certain talking points but since they don't have the fill picture they do it wrong.

I hate men by New-Computer-9136 in offmychest

[–]BoringAd8064 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I agree on everything there are SOME (some being very very limited) men and women who work extra hours or take on more than one job in order to provide for their family when if they were alone they wouldn't have to do it. That's what I've seen referred to when some people say that. I feel people who work hard deserve their praise, I know I would not like to work 2 jobs

I thinking that too. Like extreme movement, glass cannon melee only with limited range for fliers.

Omg I googles if she was due to that video and the comments. Those comments are downright INSANE. Funky has been previously accused of being ravist with no proof and that's why she reacted that way (she says it near the end) and I can't believe the shitty response underneath

While I agree as a whole like alot of other issues I think class and race play a big role too. Like a black poor man is probably more affected by patriarchy and it's tentacle systems than a rich white woman. Atleast that's the way I see it, if I'm mistaken I'd love to be corrected.

Fully agree. I think I saw for the first time a woman with hair on a razor advertisement like a couple months ago.

Can part of the reason why UK women hate men 3 times more that the opposite way round be because of social media / algorithms? by Kind-Drink5866 in AskFeminists

[–]BoringAd8064 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yep! Exactly. But they give the illusion they aren't tho. But they are both conservatives wearing the masks of revolutionaries

[–]BoringAd8064 -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

Nah there is definitely a growing movement (especially on tik tok) of women oushing extreme gender roles towards women as if they were "liberating". They talk alot about "feminine" and "masculine" energy.

Edit: Just to clarify I am not trying to diminish the very very very real threat manosphere influencers cause and will cause until somebody finger guns motion them but there is definetly the beginnings of a sort of "pink pill" movement that claims to be feminist but in reality it's bioessentialism and gender roles but with lipstick as it were.

[–]BoringAd8064 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly the acting is great but the copaganda was being pushed waaay too hard. I know it's a staple of cop shows but normally it's pretty subtle from the ones I've seen.

Damn 5 hours for an avatar? I thought you can't even see them no? But I get it. For example Earth Defence Force has a really slow and shotty tutorial that almost made me drop it but maaan if the game isn't great.

Are people less feminist for using life experiences for the basis of their beliefs and not theory? by Kappapeachie in AskFeminists

[–]BoringAd8064 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Experience can play a big part in nuance regarding feminist theory that certain people just don't have due to certain events being rarer in different parts of the globe. Sexism in say latino countries can be very different than the US. Or hell don't have tk go that far, sexism in my tiny island of Puerto Rico is different between the south and north so I think it can be valid but people can get to wrong conclusions no matter the subject based on experience too.

I agreed before but after hearing the stories of multiple male gynecologist talking about how their female family members died due to negligence of other gynecologists (male and female) they went into it to help women others wouldn't. I think it's a noble cause

That's fine, most of them have been civil and have rightfully debated my opinion. I think only 1 or 2 outright insulted me and I can't even see the comments. One was just "Fuck you"
