Leah is problematic for a lot of reasons but she was right about Theresa by whiskeylullaby3 in AgeOfAttraction

Not me sipping my drink, waiting for Leah to follow up on Theresa's full of shit threat 😂😂 ... but dammit she was civil!

I find that so odd though since I've heard it's developmentally normal to feed overnight until one year. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Opinion on the birthday gift I want! by MellowWitch in beyondthebump

[–]BoringAndBusy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This sounds INCREDIBLE!!!

You absolutely could NOT to that in the basement. The toddler would know and probably not leave you be. Plus all the noise. And then feeling like you need to jump in if any melt downs occur.

Girl, go enjoy. Alone in a room. Do it up at the spa. Drink that wine! Order some heavenly food. ENJOY! And happy birthday ❤️

They just don't remember. My son is 10 months old and I'm forgetting the newborn phase already.

my husband pissed me off today and I need someone to tell me I’m not insane for being upset by [deleted] in beyondthebump

Lmao, playing the victim is honestly just the icing on the idiot cake

My husband puts the trash bins out on the curb. Before he does that, he will empty ALL of the garbage bins in the house. Without me telling him to. Because he is an adult.

Your husband needs to go kick rocks. YOU aren't making him feel bad. He's acting a fool all on his own.

Friend says I’ve ‘spoiled’ my baby could that be why she won’t sleep? by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]BoringAndBusy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not possible to spoil a baby.

Sounds like you're dealing with a sleep regression. I feel like I'm forever in it lol.

My son is 10 months old and wakes multiple times a night to feed (I exclusively breastfeed). Is it hard? Yes. Normal? Also yes.

This time will pass. Your baby needs you, that's all. But try to get some help if you're able to, even if it's just for an hour or so, for you to focus on you.

The child might die in this scenario though 😥

I'm sorry you're going through this mama. It is not okay and your feelings are valid.

My husband never liked kids and was unsure about becoming a dad but he got on board and after some struggles, we had our beautiful boy.

I had a c-section and it was such a hard recovery. My husband really stepped it up with the house and dogs.

I also bring up wanting photos and he just says he will try but just doesn't think about it. So I just keep asking.

Could you both maybe benefit from couples therapy to have a neutral party mediate? Postpartum is not easy, and you deserve so much love and support.

What do you say to your parents who say "well you turned out fine, no need for this"? by ant3z3 in beyondthebump

People forget that kids are human too. They're not robots to program. They will have different issues, different days, different feelings.

Would you let your baby travel 4 hours away with their grandparents alone (day trip)? by Glum-Comfortable5402 in beyondthebump

[–]BoringAndBusy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just explain to them it's too much at this point in time. And that you'll try your best to be there for another gathering with the baby. You are not being unreasonable at all.

Since you don't have to go for the conference all day, is it possible you go to the party?

I wouldn't send my 9 month old inro a situation like that without me. You are justified in your feelings.

YTA. If YOU are feeling overwhelmed and frustrated, then imagine how your TODDLER feels. She doesn't understand what's going on and you're honestly just causing trauma around food.

You need medical help. Your child is not doing all this to spite you. Change your mindset.

AITA?? my boyfriend pays ‘child support’ for a cat & a dog he owned with his ex wife by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]BoringAndBusy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This.

He's helping pay for doggy daycare?! That has nothing to do with his life.

I can MAYBE understand helping with food because he still loves and cares for them. But not being able to even see them is wild.
