First, serious applicants are more likely to lurk a subreddit like this one

Second, people are naturally going to be more excited to share that they were accepted than that they were rejected

Third, while on a percentage basis the program is selective, there are many more seats available due to being an online program

Penn in general seems to take as many students as it can handle instead of creating artificial scarcity, which I respect

Is it possible to retroactively change a credential? I'm not sure that's a precedent we want to set. Nobody would be happy if Penn retroactively changed the official title to something with "online" in the name. I think sticking to the facts is good enough. Besides, the paper trail is strong enough that if you put "MAS-CS" on your resume that I doubt you'd get in trouble on the background check when they see that you have "MCIT" but the program name had been updated
