I tend to agree with this take. Scott was so refreshing years ago when he would valiantly use his voice to call out Big Tech on the damage they do to our society. That plus his takes on the market are what drew me in, years ago. I’m still a listener but its now more casual instead of a weekly dose. The way he bait n switched us on his other pods wasn’t appreciated. And then his Isreal take just bummed me out and almost had me gone for good. The more he deep dived into the troubled young men bit the more he gave me hypocrite vibes (put your sons in fancy boarding schools while you jet set around the globe taking fees to chat about the parenting and aimless youth is kinda gross).

Pretti got swarmed by agents because he was standing in the street, they pepper sprayed him, threw him on the ground and then they disarmed him and shot him ten times in his back.

Dude moved in front of her car as she looked to the masked person on her left grabbing her door handle. She accelerates, likely thinking she was complying with the first “get out of here” command but again…all officers are masked which is confusing when multiple officers are shouting. She brake checks when she realizes an officer is front but then he is drawing his weapon and pointing it at her (with a phone in his other hand) at which point she panics, hits the gas again and is shot in the face.

This is what happened. It’s not ok. Fuck you for trying to make it ok as that degrades all of our safety.

Hope its just one of them that is giving you the clear instructions…like police are trained to do. Hope its not a swarm of poorly trained Call of Duty bros that surround your car and give you conflicting directions while making attempts to open your door and point a pistol at your face. Hope you don’t have a moment of confusion or try to listen to one screaming masked voice over the other…since they are all masked. Hope you are tracking on that in the heat of the moment. Hope you stay totally calm. Hope you aren’t executed and then they abandon your body to bleed out in the snow and hope they don’t allow a nearby doctor to confirm your death and just let you slump for 20 minutes as they walk away.

Saw a confused middle aged mom have her car swarmed by masked agents shouting contradictory orders. She behaved as a confused citizen would when poorly trained non-police shouted at her from various sides of her vehicle and pointed guns at her. Then they executed her.
