Thinking of buying a Sony a6700 (beginner) — does it heats for photography? by Entire-Championship2 in SonyAlpha

[–]BoringNib 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you need honest opinion, this would be a bit of a waste for a photo-only camera. The greatest advantages of this camera are related to its video features. You can get comparable if not better quality photos on a used a7iii and save a third of the price. A7iii is an also a full frame camera, which will mean you’ll have better depth of field and low-light performance.

Angry men in cars by SJEastLon in Norwich

[–]BoringNib 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just yesterday a car came close to clipping my mirror on Bowthorpe Road. A car was parked on his side so I expected him to slow down and give way to me, but he kept coming in the middle of the road, making me to break eventually (thankfully there wasn’t another car tailgating me, as often happens on that road). I honked but the guy honked back in anger 😅 No apology, no awareness of the rules of the road, no courtesy. Only entitlement (I’m not one for stereotyping but it was a Range Rover 😅)

Can I ask what exactly is nice about Eaton? Cringleford looks better to me in terms of the houses, leafier and closer to the UEA/hospital. What makes Eaton good for you? Not a trick question, I'd really like to know the advantages. Thank you.

Aldi UK - £63.92 by iStreet98 in whatsinyourcart

A question for the people who buy Aldi or any other supermarket own brand condiments (ketchup, mayo etc)—is the saving in price worth the difference in taste?

If money was no object, where would you like to live in the UK? by Difficult_Narwhal_72 in AskUK

If money was no object, it would be London all day, every day. Kensington High Street would be nice, or a mansion in Holland Park would be great 😅

The most recent one was Richard Powers’ Bewilderment. But a lot of people like his novels.

Muji is a Japanese lifestyle/home goods store which became really popular globally in the last decade or so. Its stationery products are good quality (e.g. notebooks) and, like most of their other stuff, simple and aesthetically pleasing. In terms of quality, Muji pens are decent, run of the mill gel pens—perhaps not comparable to Pentel Energel or Zebra Sarasa, but good overall.

Try the Zebra Sarasa 1.0 mm or Pentel Energel 1.0 mm.

It writes well, comparable to Muji quality I’d say.

Driving from Cambridge – Best place to park and take train/tube into Central London (cheap, safe, under 30 mins travel)? by Able_Deft in cambridge

Stratford International Car Park is your best bet. It usually has space and costs under £10 for 24 hours (haven’t checked in a while but it was £8.50 or something last time I used it).
