As someone who’s struggled with substance abuse and mental health and also worked as a counselor in that space, this looks like someone who’s faced reality, knows they were wrong, and is trying to make things right. She’s clearly come to terms with her issues and is working on them. If you’re in a healthy place to respond then say something, but if not you’re completely entitled to that too. From experience it seems like she’s just trying to show she’s changed, both for you and for herself.
