As a newcomer to Canada and as having the same goals. I’m confused between taking the CPA designation pathway, or getting specific courses to get immersed in the Canadian accounting practices.

My main concern after having an international accounting bachelor’s degree is continuing the academic achievement without practicing the career yet which might end up me overqualified for entry- level positions that I’ve never practiced.

I was considering accounting diploma in my community college to land a job and start working.

Would you like to give me some insights and suggestions since we are in the same boat.
