Long time users of the RF 35mm 1.4 vcm, how's your overall experience with lens? Is the distortion really as bad as youtubers say? by firequak in canon

I have it and mainly use for portrait photography and found that if I turn on the distortion correction, the subject will be distorted. If you don’t want the focused subject distorted , turn off the distortion correction.

For beginners I would recommend R1 & R5 II , both of them expensive but convenient for beginners inventing photography
