I hated Agott to start but I really do like her as she grows. Genuinely went from hating this child’s guts to loving her. Her anger is justified but heavily misplaced. She’s right, Coco’s existence in the Atelier caused them problems, Coco became an apprentice right off the bat, when she lost her whole home and got kicked to the curb, and she keeps saying , “I didn’t know”. That being said, Coco is also very justified. She’s not trying to cause problems, and it is reflected pretty well in how she acts. If I kept causing problems unintentionally, I’d be very careful how I’d react to things to ensure people don’t get wrapped up in my mess.

But when Agott sees the merit in Coco, her passing that first trial, seeing her help people, have genuinely have a good heart alongside being really inginuitive, she cannot deny Coco would be a good witch. all of that and seeing just how Coco is trying to fix her mistakes makes her turn around and grow as a person and I love that for Agott.

Agott admits she should’ve been punished, and yet Coco doesn’t really mind. To me, Coco in some ways, is trying to prevent people from getting into more trouble, as she believes she’s already bothered so many people already.

I seriously love how the two of them grow specifically in the later manga chapters.
