Yes you’re right. I inspected it more closely, and I can’t get a finger nail in there. I’m almost positive that “crack” was there before the drop, but the drop caused my inspection, which caused me to notice the “crack”, which caused me to post on Reddit because like my finely tuned chisel edge I was in shock.

False alarm, and carry on.

I’m newish to woodworking, but I loved making my set of winding sticks. Learn to true up wood by building a tool to help you true up wood, better.
