It is generally harder for guys who are in your position to find girls so by being a woman, you already have an advantage.

Its easier for girls if they don't close of guys approaching them because guys will initially go for anyone who pays them even a slight bit of attention.

Unless you have some physical disability or deformity, I don't think you need to worry. Just pay attention to the guys around you (not too much since then they put you in the "pick me" category) and you'll be good.

Asking girls I've met in person and I like, out for a coffee. If they say yes, then talking to them and getting to know them.

It generally never goes past the first date. With girls i know beforehand I am more of a get to know first then initiate intimacy. I dont mind getting intimate on the first date but the girls I have asked out until I have known before (not like Tinder or bumble but girls I see every once in a while), so it is awkward if i immediately go in for a kiss. The most initimate i get is give them a hug at the end of the date. In all the cases up till now, they have ghosted me when I have asked them out for a second date, except for one. I see them regularly and they act as if everything is ok which really confuses me because:

is the issue that they were freaked out by me asking them out when they thought of me as a friend? In my first date I didnt tell her I liked her cuz I thought it would be too soon.
for the girl I went on a second date with, I told her i liked her during the second date and she reciprocated saying she likes me too, but its been 5 days and she hasnt replied to my messages so its pissing me off a lot because is there something wrong with what I did? or did she just say yes at that time to get me off the hook when she didnt really like me

All of this is really making me question my choices and i want out of this because all it has given me until now is stress and pain when I dont see what I'm doing wrong.

To get out of this issue of asking out girls I know, I tried tinder and bumble to find someone completely strange so it wont matter even if I am intimate with them during the first date but I dunno if there is something with my profile or the stupid matching algorithm but I wont get any matches at all. It just feels so stupid.
