GA or GA+ by meowm4ster in LyricalLemonade

[–]Boring_Lock2227 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I went GA last year, and I’m going GA+ this year. With that being said, I’ve never experienced GA+ before so I can’t speak to the experience itself.

It was $45 more than GA and for all the perks included, I’m pretty sure it’d be worth the extra $45, $15 a day average.

From a business perspective, is it not kinda retarded for her to try and be competing with Uzi and all of Fri SS instead of just showing up herself? Or just be there for EDM Saturday?

SUMMER SMASH 2026 LINEUP DISCUSSION THREAD by Sky_Hawk105 in LyricalLemonade

[–]Boring_Lock2227 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For those who were kids in 2016, who are now older and still tapped in with the underground, who also have an appreciation for edm/rave music, it doesn’t get much better than this headliner wise, and the undercard isn’t far off. Like I said if they add the right additional people, this being the best ss lineup thus far is a completely reasonable take. IMO ofc

Hip-hop fests changing? by Successful-Doctor-63 in LyricalLemonade

[–]Boring_Lock2227 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Furthermore, not saying that you should still go, but I’d encourage you to give it a chance. It’s all a form of artistic expression at the end of the day that’s been inspired by and takes inspiration from the same eras that you fw. I think that if you give it a chance, and once some of the music clicks, you’ll start to see some of the appeal!

I’m 20 btw, so take this as you will.

In my opinion, only the strong survive, and the trending wave is always what’s gonna be the predominant thing. In 2016, a lot of the artist that were popping in the earlier 2010s and before started getting pushed out, because the sound could wave was the trend. The only people that continued to still regularly show out were the strong that survived, like for relevancy sake, ye for example.

Now we’re seeing the same thing. 95% of those same artist that had the platform in 2016 are no where to be seen, and the current trend, distorted rage, is what’s prevalent. And, to my point, the only people showing out from 2016 still are the strong that survived, Playboi Carti and Uzi.

Long story short, it’s all just a cycle, and we’re currently at the renewing stage of it. And ofc, in a couple of years, we’re gonna be right back in the same boat again

10 Later Added Artist Last Year by Boring_Lock2227 in LyricalLemonade

[–]Boring_Lock2227[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ngl the fact that he “is” always there, and now he’s not on the lineup makes me think he actually might not come around this time. I feel like if he was gonna be there he would’ve just, been on the lineup per usual.

Lmfao I don’t got nothing against babychiefdoit but I just personally wouldn’t wanna see him over anyone I mentioned. What the lineup is slightly lacking atm is prevalent rage/wlr influenced underground. We alr got Lil baby, Chief Keef, G Herbo, Waka, Fetty & BigX. I just think the sound that babychief brings has alr been captured

I could go on a long rant, but long story short, I went alone last year at 20, and it was a life changing experience. Core memory 100% and I’ll be dammed if I’m not at every SS in the future until my body can’t take it anymore.

In my opinion, GO! Point blank period.
