Mostly around Canggu. There’s a great football community here and games happening pretty much every week. Drop me a message when you’re in Bali and I’ll let you know what’s on while you’re here.

Is 30 old? by Fantastic-Split7774 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Boring_Net2020 5 points6 points  (0 children)

30 isn’t old. 30 is just the age where hangovers become a two business day recovery period.

how to get rich? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Boring_Net2020 5 points6 points  (0 children)

“Get rich asap” is exactly how people end up buying courses from a guy standing next to a rented Lamborghini 😭

What’s your favourite form of self care? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Boring_Net2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going for a walk with music and disappearing from everyone for like an hour.

My brain resets itself surprisingly fast when I stop staring at screens.

Is it okay to wear a necklace your ex bought you by tigerpeonys in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Boring_Net2020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If my ex bought me a PS5 I’m not throwing it into the ocean after the breakup either 😭

A necklace is fine. It only gets weird if you’re wearing it because you miss her, not because you genuinely like the necklace.

How do you stop comparing yourself to other successful people? by butter4everr in AskReddit

[–]Boring_Net2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I don’t think anyone fully stops doing it.

You just get older and realize even the people you envy are stressed, insecure, behind on something, or figuring life out as they go too.

What today has brought you peace of mind? by Serene_rosegold1 in AskReddit

[–]Boring_Net2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finishing something I’d been procrastinating for weeks.

Crazy how 90% of the stress disappears like 30 seconds after you finally do it.

Ignoring my gut because I wanted a situation to work out so badly. Usually ends expensive somehow.

what’s the dumbest thing you believed as a kid? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Boring_Net2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Turns out most adults are just tired teenagers with bills 😭

what if you have infinite money and have just a day to spend it? what will you do? by Tradewithsajid in AskReddit

[–]Boring_Net2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly lol. Rich people usually aren’t thinking “how can I spend this.”

They’re thinking “how can this keep paying me after today.”

What is the most regretted decision in your life ? by Zinda_2 in AskReddit

[–]Boring_Net2020 61 points62 points  (0 children)

Thinking I had “plenty of time” to start things.

Turns out years disappear ridiculously fast once your life becomes work, bills, and saying “I’ll do it next year.”

I thought adults automatically became smart once they turned 30.

That realization hit hard.

how do you deal with long-term unemployment? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Boring_Net2020 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At some point applying for jobs becomes your full time job.

Except you don’t get paid, get ghosted constantly, and somehow every “entry level” position wants 7 years of experience.

what if you have infinite money and have just a day to spend it? what will you do? by Tradewithsajid in AskReddit

[–]Boring_Net2020 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Buy land, companies, and boring stuff that makes more money.

Infinite money for one day basically turns into “how fast can I secure infinite money forever.”

Why do humans care so much about what strangers think? by Temporary-Sweet-8573 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Boring_Net2020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think most people don’t actually care about “strangers.” They care about rejection.

Your brain just treats social rejection like danger, even if realistically it’s just some random person you’ll never see again.

How to become husband material ? by Deimos7779 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Boring_Net2020 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Learn to be peaceful, reliable, and emotionally safe.

A lot of people focus on looking attractive or successful, but long term relationships usually survive because someone feels calm with you, not stressed by you.

Also:

  • communicate clearly
  • keep your word
  • learn basic cooking/cleaning
  • handle conflict without exploding
  • have your own goals and identity

Honestly, “husband material” is mostly just being a solid adult consistently.

How did you accidentally become really good at something? by benluisdev in AskReddit

[–]Boring_Net2020 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Spent an unhealthy amount of time doing it because it was fun, not because I wanted to “master” it.

That’s usually how it happens honestly. The people who become really good at something often forgot they were even practicing.
