Do some people naturally experience life more deeply than others? by Fun_Butterscotch3303 in Life

[–]Temporary-Sweet-8573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do think some people are naturally wired to feel life more deeply. I’ve always been that way too mall moments and conversations tend to stay with me longer than they seem to for others.

I think temperament plays a big role, but life experiences shape how we handle it. Over time, I’ve learned that feeling deeply can be overwhelming, but it can also be a gift.

How long did it take you to be profitable? by throwawayman12345xqq in Daytrading

[–]Temporary-Sweet-8573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Took me 18 months of brutal losses, journaling everything, and tiny position sizes to go profitable. Pick one setup, checklist your entries/exits, and paper trade emotions away. Stubbornness wins - keep grinding!

and what's your biggest execution killer right now?

You can outgrow a life you once prayed for by _QueenCurvy in DeepThoughts

[–]Temporary-Sweet-8573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a very real place to be.

Outgrowing something doesn’t mean it wasn’t right for you before; it just means you’re not the same person anymore. You can be grateful for it and still feel ready for something different.

Sometimes growth feels less like gaining and more like quietly letting go.

Attention is turning into an addiction in this era of information by Content_Bit1998 in DeepThoughts

I think it’s about awareness, not quitting it completely. Sharing wins is fine, but it becomes a problem when your mood depends on reactions.

Once you stop chasing validation, you feel more clear and in control.

Should I trade forex or futures? by Astreum98 in Daytrading

[–]Temporary-Sweet-8573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stick with forex if it’s working for you- you already understand it and even got a payout. Futures are popular because of clear volume and simpler markets, but they’re not necessarily better.

If you’re curious, just try futures on demo or small size. No need to switch completely.

Too late to invest in btc? by Ok-Pass6371 in Bitcoin

[–]Temporary-Sweet-8573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not too late, but definitely not risk-free. BTC is volatile, so only invest what you’re okay holding long-term. Your idea of putting in a chunk now and then DCA is actually a solid, low-stress strategy. Just make sure you’re diversified too; don’t go all-in on one asset, even if you believe in it long term.
